2013–14 Xavier Musketeers Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Xavier Musketeers men's basketball team represented Xavier University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by fifth year head coach Chris Mack (basketball), Chris Mack, they played their games at the Cintas Center and were first year members of the newly reorganized Big East Conference. They finished the season 21–13, 10–8 in Big East play to finish in a three-way tie for third place. They advanced to the semifinals of the 2014 Big East men's basketball tournament, Big East tournament where they lost to 2013–14 Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team, Creighton. They received an at-large bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament where they lost in the First Round ("First Four") to 2013–14 NC State Wolfpack men's basketball team, NC State. Chris Mack (basketball)
Christopher Lee Mack (born December 30, 1969) is an American college basketball coach and the former head coach at the University of Louisville and Xavier University. Background Chris Mack was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in North College Hill, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. He graduated in 1988 from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, where he was named 1987–88 ''Cincinnati Post'' Metro Player of the Year. Mack continued on to the University of Evansville, where he played basketball for two seasons. He then transferred to Xavier University in 1990, where he played his final two seasons of eligibility (after redshirting one for transfer rules), and graduated in 1992 with a B.A. in Communication Arts. He is married to the former Christi Hester, a Louisville native and former University of Dayton guard (1996–2000). Glen Ellyn is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. A suburb located due west of downtown Chicago, the village has a population of 28,846 as of the 2020 Census. History Glen Ellyn, like the neighboring town to the east, Lombard, had its genesis in an 1833 claim by two brothers from the Finger Lakes region of New York, Morgan and Ralph Babcock. The two claimed property in a large stand of timber near present-day St. Charles Road and the East Branch of the DuPage River. The brothers also arranged for a claim for their New York neighbor Deacon Winslow Churchill, who arrived in 1834 along with some of his adult children and their families. Plainfield is a village in Will and Kendall counties, Illinois, United States. The population was 44,762 at the 2020 census. The town of Bel Air is the county seat of Harford County, Maryland. According to the 2020 United States census, the population of the town was 10,661. History Bel Air's identity has gone through several incarnations since 1780. Aquilla Scott, who had inherited land known as "Scott's Improvement Enlarged," planned the town on a portion that he called "Scott's Old Fields." Four years later, the town had expanded as local politicians, merchants, and innkeepers purchased lots from Scott, and the county commissioners decided to change its name to the more appealing "Belle Aire." Bay Village is a city in western Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States.
