2013–14 Western Illinois Leathernecks Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Western Illinois Leathernecks men's basketball team represented Western Illinois University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Leathernecks, led by sixth year head coach Jim Molinari, played their home games at Western Hall and were members of The Summit League. They finished the season 10–20, 4–10 in The Summit League play to finish in seventh place. They lost in the quarterfinals of The Summit League tournament to South Dakota State. At the end of the season, head coach Jim Molinari resigned to take an assistants job at Nebraska. His record was 79–104 in six seasons. Jim Molinari
James R. Molinari (born December 26, 1954) is an American basketball coach and lawyer. Molinari was most recently an assistant coach at Oklahoma from 2019 to 2021. He formerly served as an assistant coach at Nebraska and as former head coach of the Western Illinois University Leathernecks, where he served from 2008 to 2014. Prior to being named coach at WIU, Molinari was as assistant coach at Ball State University after serving as the interim head coach at the University of Minnesota, replacing Dan Monson on November 30, 2006 and being succeeded by Tubby Smith on March 22, 2007. Previously, he served as head men's basketball coach at Northern Illinois University and Bradley University. He also was a scout for the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat. Molinari graduated from Glenbard West High School, where he starred on its varsity boys' basketball team. Rapid City ( lkt, link=no, Mni Lúzahaŋ Otȟúŋwahe; "Swift Water City") is the second most populous city in South Dakota and the county seat of Pennington County. Pinnacle Bank Arena
Pinnacle Bank Arena is a 15,500-seat indoor arena in the West Haymarket District of Lincoln, Nebraska. It was completed in 2013 and replaced the Bob Devaney Sports Center as the home of the University of Nebraska's men's and women's basketball teams. A turn back tax to support a $25 million bond was approved by Lincoln voters on May 11, 2010. On December 6, 2011, it was announced that Pinnacle Bank purchased the naming rights to the arena, at a cost of $11.25 million for 25 years. The 2013–14 Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball team represented the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by head coach Tim Miles, in his second season, the Cornhuskers team played its home games in the brand new Pinnacle Bank Arena in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska, and were a member of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season with a record 19–13 overall, 11–7 in Big Ten play for a 4th-place finish, despite being predicted by many to finish last in the conference. War Memorial Gymnasium is a 2,500-seat multi-purpose indoor arena in the northwest United States, on the campus of the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. Opened in November 1928, the venue honors state residents who gave their lives in the service of their country in World War I. 2013–14 Idaho Vandals Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represented the University of Idaho during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Vandals, led by sixth year head coach Don Verlin, played their home games at the Cowan Spectrum, with a few early season games at Memorial Gym, and were members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 16–18, 7–9 in WAC play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They advanced to the championship game of the WAC tournament where they lost to New Mexico State. Macomb is a city in and the county seat of McDonough County, Illinois, United States. It is situated in western Illinois, southwest of Galesburg.
