2013–14 TT Pro League
The 2013–14 TT Pro League season (known as the ''Digicel Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the fifteenth season of the TT Pro League, the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1999. A total of nine teams contested the league, with Defence Force the defending champions. The season began on 13 September 2013 and concluded on 20 May 2014 with the crowning of W Connection as the league champion. During the previous league season, Point Fortin Civic gained momentum in returning as a professional club following a streak of solid performances during the 2012 TOYOTA Classic and 2012–13 FA Trophy over Pro League competition. After the previous season had concluded, the Pro League announced that T&TEC had withdrawn from the league citing financial difficulties to sustain its football operations. TT Pro League
The TT Pro League (formerly known as the Professional Football League) is the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and serves as the top division in the Trinidad and Tobago football league system. Contested by ten clubs, the league is one of the world's few football leagues that does not operate on an automatic system of promotion and relegation. Seasons run from September to May, with teams playing 18 games each totaling 90 games in the season. Trinidad And Tobago National Football Team
The Trinidad and Tobago national football team, nicknamed the " Soca Warriors", represents the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in international football. 2013–14 Trinidad And Tobago Cup
The Trinidad and Tobago FA Trophy, is the premier knockout tournament for teams in Trinidad and Tobago that is open to all clubs affiliated with the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association. The FA Trophy is the oldest football competition in Trinidad and Tobago, dating back to 1927 when Shamrock claimed the inaugural trophy. Since the competition involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for ' giant-killers' from the lower divisions of eliminating top clubs from the tournament and even theoretically win the trophy, although lower division teams rarely reach the final. TT Pro League Golden Boot
The TT Pro League Golden Boot is an annual Trinidad and Tobago association football, football award given at the beginning of each TT Pro League calendar year to the top goalscorer for the previous season. The Golden Boot has been awarded since the establishment of the Pro League in 1999. Hasely Crawford Stadium
The Hasely Crawford Stadium, formerly the National Stadium, is located in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. It was inaugurated and formally opened by Prime Minister George Chambers on 12 June 1982. On 30 December 1996, Prime Minister Basdeo Panday officially designated it "The Hasely Crawford Stadium", after the first person from Trinidad and Tobago to win an Olympic gold medal.
