2013–14 Scottish League Cup
The 2013–14 Scottish League Cup was the 68th season of Scotland's second-most prestigious football knockout competition. Format The competition is a single elimination knock-out competition. In each round, fixtures are determined by random draw, with the first to third rounds seeded according to last season's league positions (higher 50% of finishers drawn v lower 50% of finishers, alternating which is at home with each tie drawn). Fixtures are played to a finish, with extra time and then penalties used in the event of draws. The competition is open to all clubs in the Scottish Professional Football League. Bayview Stadium
Bayview Stadium, known formerly as New Bayview, is a football stadium in the Scottish town of Methil, Fife. It is home to East Fife. It was opened in 1998, after the club relocated from the original Bayview Park across town. The stadium can accommodate up to spectators all of whom are seated in a single stand running along one side of the pitch. There are open areas for future expansion. In 2008 plans were announced to increase capacity with the erection of a covered terrace/stand at the sea end of the stadium. Due to the economic climate in 2009 these plans were put on hold. The stadium's capacity was temporarily expanded to 4,700 for a Scottish League One match against Rangers in October 2013. The site of the stadium is near the mouth of the River Forth and the pitch used to be overshadowed by Methil power station, until it was demolished in April 2011. Douglas Imrie (born 3 August 1983) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who is currently the manager of Greenock Morton. Imrie played as either a forward or a winger in the professional leagues for Clyde, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, St Mirren, Greenock Morton and Hamilton Academical, having previously played in the Junior league for Lanark United. Club career Lanark United Imrie was born in Lanark and came to prominence with local side Junior side Lanark United. He made 138 appearances for them, scoring 77 goals. Archie Campbell (born 10 January 1991) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Crossgates Primrose. Campbell started his career at Rangers, but left to join Morton after seven years at Ibrox. He also had a loan spell at Cowdenbeath where he scored five league goals as they failed to avoid relegation. Club career Campbell started his career with Cowdenbeath in 2007, having been with the club since the age of 13. David John McNeil (born 21 January 1995) is a Scottish footballer. He currently plays junior football for Port Glasgow Juniors having last played professionally for Greenock Morton in Scottish League One. Career He started his career at Kilmarnock aged 12, after coming through the First Touch scheme. McNeil made his senior debut for Greenock Morton at the age of 18, scoring the third as a substitute against East Fife on 3 August 2013. McNeil signed a new 6-month deal in July 2014. He scored his first league goal for the club in a 2–0 win over Stirling Albion in October 2014. McNeil was released at the end of his short-term contract in January 2015. Michal Habai (born 30 July 1985) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a defender (or defensive midfielder). He is currently playing in Austria with SV Petzenkirchen. Club career Habai came to Scotland at the age of 27, having spent his career playing in his homeland of Slovakia, with a spell in the Czech Republic with Druhá liga side Baník Sokolov. Mark McLaughlin
Mark McLaughlin (born 2 December 1975) is a Scottish former professional footballer. Since turning senior in 1999, McLaughlin has played over 100 games for both Clyde and Hamilton Academical. He has also played for Greenock Morton and Dumbarton. Career McLaughlin, a defender, began his career at junior club Arthurlie before moving to Clyde in 1999. Liam Buchanan (born 27 March 1985) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Lowland Football League club Berwick Rangers. A product of the Hearts youth system, Buchanan made his breakthrough at Cowdenbeath.
