2013–14 Rugby-Bundesliga
The 2013–14 Rugby-Bundesliga was the 43rd edition of this competition and the 94th edition of the German rugby union championship. In the Rugby-Bundesliga, twenty-four teams played in, initially, four regional divisions, the first stage of the competition, followed by a championship round of sixteen clubs and, finally, the play-offs consisting of twelve teams. The season started on 24 August 2013 and finished with the championship final on 21 June 2014 in Pforzheim, interrupted by a winter break from 8 December to 22 February.Rugby Spielpläne - 2013/2014

The Heidelberger Ruderklub (Heidelberger RK or HRK for short) is a German rowing club and rugby union club from Heidelberg, currently playing in the Rugby-Bundesliga. The club is one of only two professional rugby clubs in Germany, the other being SC 1880 Frankfurt. The RK Heusenstamm is a German rugby union club from Heusenstamm, currently playing in the Rugby-Bundesliga. History The club was formed in 1979, much later than most other current Bundesliga clubs, in Heusenstamm, Hesse. After relegation from the Rugby-Bundesliga in 2000, the club played in the 2nd Rugby-Bundesliga for a number of seasons. The ''RKH's'' greatest success came in 2006, when it managed to take out the German sevens championship. The RG Heidelberg (''german: Rudergesellschaft Heidelberg'', literally "Heidelberg Rowing Club") is a German rugby union club from Heidelberg, currently playing in the Rugby-Bundesliga. Apart from rugby, the club also offers the sport of rowing. History The club was formed on 4 June 1898 as a rowing club. Out of necessity to have an alternative sport in winter, frozen rivers made rowing naturally impossible, the rugby department of the club was formed in 1919. The ''RGH'' was the third rugby club to be formed in Heidelberg, after the Heidelberger RK and the SC Neuenheim, making it easy for the new team to find opposition to play against. Berliner RC
The Berliner Rugby Club is a German rugby union club from Berlin, currently playing in the Rugby-Bundesliga. History The club was formed in 1926. While very successful in its youth department, it has not managed similar achievements on the senior level. The club has yet to win a national championship, having appeared in the 1989 German rugby union championship final, where it lost 6-20 to TSV Victoria Linden. Two lost Cup finals also stand to its name.
