Rochdale ( ) is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, at the foothills of the South Pennines in the dale on the River Roch, northwest of Oldham and northeast of Manchester. It is the administrative centre of the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, which had a population of 211,699 in the 2011 census. Located within the historic boundaries of the county of Lancashire. Rochdale's recorded history begins with an entry in the Domesday Book of 1086 under "Recedham Manor". Rhys Gordon Bennett (born 1 September 1991) is an English professional footballer who is currently without a club. He plays as a central defender, although he has also been deployed in defensive midfield, and as a full-back. Club career Bolton Wanderers Bennett started his professional career at Bolton Wanderers, regularly playing in the reserve side and wearing the captain's armband on occasions. Matt Done
Matthew Done (born 22 July 1988) is an English former professional footballer who is now a Player Development Phase Coach at club Port Vale. In a seventeen-year playing career he scored 60 goals in 592 league and cup appearances, playing mostly as a winger or as a striker. Done began his career at Wrexham, making his debut at the age of seventeen in August 2005. He established himself in the first-team during the 2006–07 and 2006–07 seasons, but left the club following their relegation out of the English Football League. He joined Hereford United for an undisclosed fee and played 64 games over the course of two seasons. Javan Noel Vidal (born 10 May 1989) is an English retired professional footballer who last played as a defender or as a midfielder, for Kettering Town. A former England under-19 and under-20 international, he began his career at Manchester City, where he came through the club's youth team academy. George Edwards Porter (born 27 June 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as either a winger or a striker for Cray Wanderers. Career Cray Wanderers Born in Sidcup, Porter joined Isthmian League Premier Division side Cray Wanderers for the 2009–10 season. After playing several games for the academy at Coopers Technology College in Chislehurst, Porter was promoted to the first team, making his debut in the FA Cup. Matthew Charles Lund (born 21 November 1990) is an professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Salford City. Lund began his career with English club Stoke City in the Premier League, where he failed to make his debut. He instead made his senior debut while a loan spell at Hereford United in November 2010. Further loan spells took Lund to Oldham Athletic and Bristol Rovers (twice) and he ended 2011–12 on loan at Southend United. Peter Ian Vincenti (born 7 July 1986) is a professional footballer from Jersey who plays for Jersey Football Combination club St. Peter. He primarily plays as a winger, although he has also been deployed in attacking midfield, and as a forward. Vincenti is the vice-chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA).
