2013–14 RB Leipzig Season
The 2013–14 RB Leipzig season was the 5th season in the club's football history and their first season competing in the professional & national level in Germany. Leipzig participated in the 2013–14 3. Liga season after winning the promotion playoff. Leipzig participated in the DFB-Pokal after winning the 2013 Saxony Cup. They were eliminated in the first round by FC Augsburg. Leipzig also participates in the 2014 Saxony Cup since 3. Liga teams are allowed to participate in regional cups. They were eliminated in the semifinal by FC Oberlausitz Neugersdorf. Alexander Zorniger
Alexander Zorniger (born 8 October 1967) is a German football manager of Greuther Fürth and retired player who played as a midfielder. Coaching career Early career Zorniger started his coaching career with stints as head coach of Normannia Gmünd, assistant coach at VfB Stuttgart, and as head coach at Sonnenhof Großaspach. RB Leipzig Zorniger became head coach of RB Leipzig on 3 July 2012. He managed the club to an undefeated season in all competitions. They finished the league season with 21 wins and 9 draws and went on to the promotion play–off; winning the first leg 2–0 and drawing the second leg 2–2. Matthias Josef Morys (born 19 March 1987) is a Polish-German former professional football forward. Career Born in Gliwice, Silesia, Poland, Morys started his senior career playing for 1. FC Normannia Gmünd in 2005. In 2006, he moved to VfB Stuttgart II, where he played to 2008 scoring 7 goals in 56 matches. It was difficult for Morys to find a regular place in the first team so he moved in Kickers Offenbach. After a season he signed a contract with Bulgarian side Chernomorets Burgas. FC Liefering GmbH is an Austrian association football club, originally from Liefering, a section of Salzburg. It currently plays in the Second League, the second tier of Austrian football. Since 2012, Liefering has been a reserve team for Austrian Football Bundesliga side FC Red Bull Salzburg. Walchsee is a municipality in the Austrian state of Tyrol in the Kufstein district. It is located in the lower Inn valley and belongs to the "Kaiserwinkl" and the "Untere Schranne". Albian Afrim Ajeti (born 26 February 1997) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a striker for Austrian Bundesliga club Sturm Graz, on loan from Celtic, and the Switzerland national team. Stephan Andrist (born 12 December 1987) is a Swiss football midfielder who plays for FC Schötz. He is a former youth international. Club career As a child Andrist played for FC Dürrenast, but he came through the ranks at FC Thun. Andrist was called into their first team in 2007 and played his debut on 22 September in the home game against FC Luzern.
