2013–14 Oral Roberts Golden Eagles Women's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Oral Roberts Golden Eagles women's basketball team represented Oral Roberts University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Golden Eagles were led by 2nd year head coach Misti Cussen and played their home games at the Mabee Center. The 2013–14 season was the Golden Eagles' final season in the Southland Conference. Beginning with the 2014–15 season, the Golden Eagles will once again be competing in The Summit League after a two-year period as members of the Southland Conference. Misti Cussen
Misti, also known as Putina or Guagua Putina, is a stratovolcano of andesite, dacite, and rhyolite located in southern Peru near the city of Arequipa. With its seasonally snow-capped, symmetrical cone, Misti stands at above sea level and lies between the Chachani massif () and Pichu Pichu volcano (). Its last eruption was in , 198 years after its previous documented eruption. Description Misti has three concentric craters. Active fumaroles (volcanic gas vents) can be seen in the inner crater. Near the inner crater, six Inca mummies and rare Inca artifacts were found in 1998 during a month-long excavation directed by archaeologists Johan Reinhard and Jose Antonio Chavez. Bud Walton Arena (also known as the Basketball Palace of Mid-America) is the home to the men's and women's basketball teams of the University of Arkansas, known as the Razorbacks. It is located on the campus of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas and has a seating capacity of 19,368, which is the fifth largest for an on-campus arena in the United States. Allen Fieldhouse
Allen Fieldhouse is an indoor arena on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence, Kansas. It is home of the Kansas Jayhawks men's and women's basketball teams. The arena is named after Phog Allen, a former player and head coach for the Jayhawks whose tenure lasted 39 years. The arena's nickname, The Phog also pays homage to Allen. The 2013–14 Kansas Jayhawks women's basketball team represented the University of Kansas in the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. It was head coach Bonnie Henrickson's tenth season at Kansas. Home games were played at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence. They finished the season with a record of 13–19 overall, and their Big 12 Conference record was 5–13 for a tie to finish in eighth place. They lost in the quarterfinals in the 2014 Big 12 women's basketball tournament to Baylor.
