2013–14 Macedonian First Football League
The 2013–14 Macedonian First League was the 22nd season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. Vardar are the defending champions after winning their seventh Macedonian championship at the end of the 2012–13 season. It began on 4 August 2013 and ended on 18 May 2014. This was the final season with 12 teams, because the Football Federation of Macedonia approved reducing the league to 10 teams. Therefore, 4 teams was directly relegated. FK Rabotnički
FK Rabotnichki ( mk, ФК Работнички) or more commonly Rabotnički (old transliteration) and Rabotnicki is a football club that plays at the Toshe Proeski Arena in Skopje, North Macedonia. They currently compete in the Macedonian First League. History FK Rabotnichki was founded in 1937 as SK Radnički Skoplje. It is widely regarded as the ‘railway football club’. It started competing in the 1938–39 Second League of the Skoplje Football Subassociation which finished 4th out of 5 teams. FK Bregalnica Štip ( mk, ФК Брегалница Штип) is a football club based in Štip, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History FK Bregalnica was formed in 1921 and currently plays in the Macedonian First League. Their nickname is The Blues because the club colours are all blue. They play their games at Ground Bregalnica Arena Shtip with Capacity of 4,000 sits. The 2014–15 Macedonian Second League was the 23rd season of the Macedonian Second Football League, the second football division of Macedonia. It began on 9 August 2014 and ended on 23 May 2015. In that season, 10 teams performs instead of 16 because the Football Federation of Macedonia in May 2013 voted for decision on the decrease of the league. FK Sileks ( mk, ФК Силекс) is a football club based in Kratovo, North Macedonia who play in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 1965. Sileks biggest accomplishment in 90s came in the Yugoslav Cup where they reached the quarter-final. It was a remarkable achievement considering they defeated both Sarajevo teams, FK Željezničar and FK Sarajevo in back to back rounds. Since the formation of the First Macedonian Football League, they played at top level from the start until their relegation in 2013. FK Teteks
FK Teteks ( mk, ФК Тетекс) is a football club from the city of Tetovo in North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History In 1946, there was a club from Tetovo called Šar Tetovo, and it competed in the Macedonian Republic League and Macedonian Cup. It won the Macedonian Cup two times in 1948 and 1950, and was successful in the Macedonian League. However, it was dissolved after a few years, mostly because of financial difficulties. Not much long after this, a new club was founded on the base of FK Šar, named Tekstilec. The club was founded in 1953, under the name FK Tekstilec. The 2013–14 Macedonian Second Football League was the 22nd season since its establishment. It began on 10 August 2013 and ended on 17 May 2014. This was the final season with 16 teams, because the Football Federation of Macedonia approved reducing the league to 10 teams. Therefore, the 3 teams from 7th and 9th position played relegation play-offs, and the 7 teams were directly relegated.
