2013–14 LEB Plata Season
The 2013–14 LEB Plata season is the 13th season of the LEB Plata, the Spanish basketball third division. It is named Adecco Plata as its sponsored identity. The champion of the regular season will be promoted to LEB Oro. The teams between second and ninth position will play a best of five games play off, where the winner will be promoted too to the higher division. LEB Plata
The LEB Plata is the third basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system and the second basketball division organized by the Spanish Basketball Federation. Since 2019, three teams are promoted to LEB Oro and six teams are relegated to Liga EBA. Oviedo CB
Oviedo Club Baloncesto, also known as Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team based in Oviedo, Asturias, that plays in the Spanish LEB Oro league. History First years Oviedo CB was founded in 2004 to substitute old CB Vetusta, today dissolved. In their first season, 2004–05, the club started playing at Liga EBA, but was relegated to Primera División de Baloncesto, Primera División after winning only six games of 30. Óbila CB
Óbila Club de Basket, also known as Ávila Auténtica Carrefour "El Bulevar" is a Spanish professional basketball team based in Ávila, Castilla y León and plays in the Multiusos Carlos Sastre, in LEB Plata. Óbila is the only basketball team in the city of Ávila. From 2011 to 2013, Óbila collaborated with Baloncesto Fuenlabrada as its farm team. History Óbila Club de Basket was born in Ávila in 2001. Iraurgi Saski Baloia, also known as Sammic Hostelería for sponsorship reasons, is a professional Basketball team based in Azpeitia, Basque Country, Spain. Founded in 1975, the men's team currently plays in LEB Oro and the women's team in the Liga Femenina 2. Askatuak SBT
Askatuak Saki-Baloi Taldea is a basketball club based in San Sebastián, in the Basque Country of Spain, that plays in the Liga EBA. History The team competed for four years in the top Spanish league, one of them in the Liga ACB. They also played for the Korać Cup during two seasons. In 1993 Askatuak sold its 1ª División (second tier) spot to CB Salamanca. Years later, in 2001, the team resigned its berth in LEB Plata and was substituted as the first basketball team in San Sebastián by the new Gipuzkoa BC. Araberri BC
Araberri Basket Club, also known as Sáenz Horeca Araberri for sponsorship reasons, is a basketball team based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. History Founded in 1994. In June 2011, the team promoted to LEB Plata, where it won one Copa LEB Plata and promoted to LEB Oro as winner of the playoffs in 2016. Despite this achievement, on 23 July 2016 the club announced it could not fulfill the requirements in the league and folded the professional team, maintaining only the youth teams. However, one month later Araberri was allowed to participate in the league and the professional team was reinstated. On 18 July 2017, the club announced it could not fulfill the requirements in the league and it appealed against the decision of FEB.
