2013–14 KF Tirana Season
The 2013–14 season was KF Tirana, Klubi i Futbollit Tirana's 75th competitive season, 75th consecutive season in the Kategoria Superiore and 93rd year in existence as a football club. The team's performance in the first half of the league season was among the worst in the club's history, losing 10 of 16 games, at times ranking at the bottom of the league. The team's manager was changed four times, and they were eliminated from the 2013–14 Albanian Cup, Albanian Cup in the second round. However, the club made a dramatic comeback in the second half of the season, winning 11 of 17 games with a single loss, allowing them to finish in 6th place and avoid relegation. KF Tirana
Klubi i Futbollit Tirana (KF Tirana) is an Albanian football club based in the country's capital city, Tirana. The men's football club is part of the multi-disciplinary sports club SK Tirana, and is the most successful in Albania, having won 54 recognized major domestic trophies. They play their home games at the Selman Stërmasi Stadium in Tirana and they play in the Kategoria Superiore. The club was founded on 15 August 1920 as Sport Klub Tirana (in English: Sport Club Tirana), but then, they name changed to Shoqata e Futbollit Agimi (in English: Agimi Football Association) and they had since participated in List of unrelegated association football clubs, all the top tier national championships ever held in Albania. Gilman Lika
Gilman Lika (born 31 January 1987) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Vllaznia Shkodër in the Albanian Superliga and the Albania national team. Having started his career with Vllaznia Shkodër in 2004, he moved to Turkey in 2008 where he played for Hacettepe, Boluspor and Diyarbakırspor before returning to Albania to play for Tirana. Erion Hoxhallari (born 15 October 1995) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Romanian club UTA Arad. Club career Early career Hoxhallari started his youth career at Tirana. On 1 July 2011 he was loaned out at Austrian side Grazer AK for a half season. Tirana Hoxhallari made his professional debut for Tirana on 23 November 2011 in the cup tie against Apolonia, playing full-90 minutes in a 3–0 home win. Marsel Çaka
Marsel Çaka (born 31 March 1995) is an Albanian footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Dinamo in the Albanian First Division. Club career Çaka is a product of the KF Tirana academy which he joined as a child, before being promoted to the senior team in January 2013 where he featured in 5 league games in the 2012–13 season. He became the club's first choice goalkeeper for the first half of the 2013–14 season at the age of just 18. Krenar Alimehmeti (born 17 August 1966) is an Albanian retired football player and current manager. Many fans know him as ''Krenar Zhubi''. Playing career Club As a player, he represented KF Tirana formerly known as 17 Nëntori Tirana with whom he won 6 league titles. Ilion Lika
Ilion Lika (born 17 May 1980) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper and also is goalkeeping coach of Albanian club Tirana in the Albanian Superliga. During his 19-year career span, Lika has played more than 500 matches on club level. He began his professional career in 1999 with Dinamo Tirana, recording more than 200 appearances in all competitions before leaving for Elbasani in 2007. Lika moved for the first time aboard in January 2008 by joining Terek Grozny of Russian Premier League. Darjo Xhuti
Darjo Xhuti (born 9 May 1991) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Xhuti initially came on trial at Albanian Superliga side Tirana at the end of 2012. He also scored in a friendly against Vllaznia Shkodër which ended 2–0 his side. He successfully passed the trial, and on 30 January 2013, Xhuti was presented as the new player of Tirana, signing a contract until the end of the season. He was given squad number 22. Xhuti made his first Tirana appearance by appearing in the last minutes of the goalless away draw against Laçi in the final championship round.
