2013–14 Indiana State Sycamores Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Indiana State Sycamores basketball team represented Indiana State University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Sycamores, led by fourth year head coach Greg Lansing, played their home games at the Hulman Center and were members of the Missouri Valley Conference. They finished the season 23–11, 12–6 in MVC play to finish in second place. They advanced to the championship game of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament where they lost to Wichita State. They were invited to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Arkansas. Greg Lansing
Gregory A. Lansing (born December 9, 1967) is a current scout for the Philadelphia 76ers and a former American college basketball coach. An assistant and head coach at the high school and college levels since 1990, he was most recently the head men's basketball coach at Indiana State University from 2010 to 2021, having twice previously been an assistant coach at Indiana State. Originally from Harlan, Iowa, Lansing played college basketball at South Dakota and was the North Central Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 1990. After two years as a graduate assistant there, Lansing was an assistant coach at South Dakota from 1992–93. From 1993 to 1995, Lansing was head coach at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Iowa, where he led the boys' basketball program to its first winning seasons in over a decade. Curb Event Center
The Curb Event Center is a multipurpose arena on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Named in honor of its prime donor, music executive and former lieutenant governor of California Mike Curb, the arena was completed in 2003, replacing the former Striplin Gym. It is the home venue of Belmont's men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams and hosted the 2004 and 2005 Atlantic Sun Conference men's basketball tournaments. The 2013–14 Belmont Bruins men's basketball team represented Belmont University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bruins, led by 28th year head coach Rick Byrd, played their home games at the Curb Event Center and were members of the Ohio Valley Conference in the East Division. They finished the season 26–10, 14–2 in OVC play to be champions of the East Division and overall regular season OVC champions. They advanced to the championship game of the OVC tournament where they lost to Eastern Kentucky. The 2013–14 Ball State Cardinals men's basketball team represented Ball State University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Bushkill is an unincorporated community in Pike County, Pennsylvania, United States. Portions of Bushkill were seized by the United States government during the controversial Tocks Island Dam project and are now part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
