2013–14 ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup
The 2013–14 ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup was a multi-race tournament over a season for short track speed skating. The season began on 28 September 2013 and ended on 17 November 2013. The World Cup was organised by the ISU who also run world cups and championships in speed skating and figure skating. The 3rd and 4th legs of the world cup, held in Turin and Kolomna Kolomna ( rus, Колóмна, p=kɐˈlomnə) is a historical city in Moscow Oblast, Russia, situated at the confluence of the Moskva and Oka Rivers, (by rail) southeast of Moscow. Li Jianrou (; ; born 15 August 1986 in Jilin City, Jilin Province) is a Chinese Short track Speed skater. She won a gold medal in the 500 m event of the 2014 Winter Olympics. Kim A-lang (Hangul: 김아랑, born 22 August 1995) is a South Korean short track speed skater. Kim made her debut on the international stage with two gold medals and one silver medal at the 2013 World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships, placing second in the overall ranking. Kim was part of the short track speed skating team in the 3000 m relay that won a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Shim Suk-hee (Hangul: 심석희; ; born 30 January 1997) is a South Korean short track speed skater. She is a two-time Olympic Champion (2014, 2018) and a World Champion (2014). Early life At the age of 6, Shim started short track speed skating in her hometown Gangneung as a hobby with her older brother's influence. Marianne St-Gelais (born February 17, 1990) is a Canadian former short track speed skater. She won two gold medals and three bronze medals at 2010 Winter Olympics and 2014 Winter Olympics. Fan Kexin (; ; born 19 September 1993) is a Chinese short-track speed-skater. She has been on the Chinese national team since 2010. She won two silver medals in the 500 meters and 3000 meters relay at the 2010 ISU World Junior Championships. In 2011, she won her first gold medal at the World Championships on the 500 meters and another gold medal in the 3000 meters relay. She won a gold medal in the 3000 m relay event and a silver medal in the 500 m event in 2012. Olivier Jean is a gold medalist from the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games in the men's 5000m relay.
