2013–14 Hong Kong Rangers FC Season
The 2013–14 season is Biu Chun Rangers's 35th, as well as 2nd consecutive, season in the Hong Kong First Division League. Biu Chun Rangers will compete in the First Division League, Senior Challenge Shield and FA Cup. Biu Chun Rangers
Hong Kong Rangers Football Club (), often abbreviated to Rangers, currently known as Biu Chun Rangers due to sponsorship reasons, is a Hong Kong football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. They have won the Hong Kong First Division once, the Senior Shield 4 times, and the Hong Kong FA Cup twice. History Formation to 2000 The club was founded in 1958 by a Scottish expatriate from Glasgow named Ian Petrie. He named his club after Rangers. It was the first Asian football club with a modern football club managing system. In the early days, the club could not compete with the bigger clubs financially so Petrie relied on young players and the team was known as a breeding ground for young players. The Citizen Athletic Association (), simply known as Citizen or TCAA, is a Hong Kong athletic club. Its football team () currently competes in the Hong Kong First Division. The club has a long history in playing in the top-tier Hong Kong First Division, but decided to self-relegate in the 2013–14 season after declining to participate in the newly established Hong Kong Premier League. Chow Cheuk Fung
Chow Cheuk Fung (, born 1 August 1989 in Hong Kong) is a former Hong Kong professional footballer who currently plays as an amateur player for Hong Kong First Division club Icanfield. Club career During his youth, Chow trained with Hong Kong Rangers academy. In 2006, Chow moved to Tuen Mun where his father was also the Director of Football, in order to assist with his family's transportation business. During the 2008–09 season, Chow led Tuen Mun to the Hong Kong Third District Division League title and first place in the Final Round. The following season, he led Tuen Mun to their second successive promotion, finishing runners up in the 2009-10 Second Division season.
