2013–14 FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod Season
The 2013–14 FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod season was the club's 3rd and final season in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of football in Russia, following their promotion at the end of the 2010 season. They finished the season in 15th place and were relegated from the Premier League. Volga also took part in the 2013–14 Russian Cup, where they were knocked out at the fifth-round stage by SKA-Energiya Khabarovsk. Artur Sergeyevich Sarkisov ( hy, Արթուր Սարկիսով; russian: Артур Сергеевич Саркисов; born 19 January 1987) is an Armenian former football player who played as a forward or winger. Club career Lower league football Sarkisov started playing aged 12 in FC Strogino football school. In one of the friendly matches with FC Reutov, Arthur scored a hat-trick, and then the board of the Moscow Region club offered him a contract. Dmitri Olegovich Bulykin (russian: Дмитрий Олегович Булыкин; born 20 November 1979) is a retired Russian footballer. Between 2003 and 2005, he played regularly for the Russian national team. Luton George Kieshawn Shelton (11 November 1985 – 22 January 2021) was a Jamaican professional footballer who played as a striker or winger. At the time of his death, he was the top scorer for the Jamaican national football team with 35 goals. He is also the only men's football player to score four goals in his international debut (2004). Career

He played for FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod. He is similar to his predecessor, Alexey Smertin in that he is a hard working player who can tackle well, pass accurately, shoot from distance and is a natural born leader. He played for Russia national football team, Russia in the 2004 European Football Championship. On 15 August 2006 Aldonin was selected by Russia national football team, Russia's coach Guus Hiddink to be the captain of the National team for the friendly against Latvia national football team, Latvia which took place on 16 August 2006.

Adrian Ropotan (born 8 May 1986) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Adrian Ropotan was born in Galați on 8 May 1986, playing his first Divizia A match for Dinamo București on 18 March 2006 in a 2–0 victory against Pandurii Târgu Jiu. In the following season, he played 21 league games under coach Mircea Rednic, helping Dinamo win the 2006–07 Liga I title, also appearing in 8 matches in the UEFA Cup as the team reached the sixteenths-finals where they were eliminated with 3–1 on aggregate by Benfica.
