2013–14 FC Rubin Kazan Season
The 2013–14 Rubin season was the 10th successive season that the club played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. Kazan played in the Russian Cup, reaching the Fifth Round, the Europa League, reaching the Round of 32 and the Russian Premier League. In December 2013, manager Kurban Berdyev was fired after 13 years with the club, being replaced by Vladimir Maminov the following month. FC Rubin Kazan (russian: Футбо́льный клуб Руби́н Каза́нь, ''Futbolny klub Rubin Kazan'' , Tatar language, Tatar: Рубин Казан) is a Russian professional association football, football club based in the city of Kazan. Marko Dević ( sr-Cyrl, Марко Девић; ukr, Марко Девiч, Marko Devich; born 27 October 1983) is a retired football player. Dmitri Yevgenyevich Torbinski (russian: Дмитрий Евгеньевич Торбинский; born 28 April 1984) is a Russian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He was a central midfielder and winger known for his pace and accurate crosses. Club career Torbinski began his career as a futsal player, but has then moved into football and joined the Spartak's youth academy at a young age. Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Prudnikov (russian: Александр Александрович Прудников; born 24 February 1989) is a Russian former footballer who played as a forward.
