2013–14 FC Dynamo Moscow Season
The 2013–14 Dynamo Moscow season was the 91st season in the club's history. They participated in the Russian Premier League, finishing 4th whilst also reaching the Fifth Round of Russian Cup, where they were defeated by Salyut Belgorod. Dynamo started the season under the management of Dan Petrescu, who mutually terminated his contract with the club on 8 April 2014. Konstantin Paramonov was then put in temporary charge of the team before Stanislav Cherchesov was appointed Dynamos permanent manager on 10 April 2014. FC Dynamo Moscow
FC Dynamo Moscow (''FC Dynamo Moskva'', russian: Дина́мо Москва́ ) is a Russian football club based in Moscow. Dynamo returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2017–18 season after one season in the second-tier Russian Football National League. Dynamo was the only club that had always played in the top tier of Soviet football (along with Dynamo Kyiv) and of Russian football from the end of the Soviet era until they were relegated in 2016. Despite this, they have never won the modern Russian Premier League title and have won Russian Cup only once, in the season of 1994–95. During the Soviet era, they were affiliated with the MVD (Ministry of Internal Affairs – The Soviet Militia) and with the KGB and was a part of Dynamo sports society. Yuri Valentinovich Zhirkov ( rus, Ю́рий Валенти́нович Жирко́в, p=ˈjʉrʲɪj vəlʲɪnˈtʲinəvʲɪtɕ ʐɨrˈkof; born 20 August 1983) is a Russian footballer. A left-sided player who can play full-back or winger, Zhirkov began his career at local club Spartak Tambov before joining top-flight CSKA Moscow in 2004. Roman Berezovsky
Roman Anatoliyevich Berezovsky ( hy, Ռոման Բերեզովսկի; russian: Рома́н Анато́льевич Березо́вский ; born 5 August 1974) is an Armenian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Berezovsky is the caretaker manager of the Armenia national team. He previously played for Zenit Saint Petersburg, Khimki and Torpedo Moscow, among other clubs. He also holds a Russian passport. Early life Roman Berezovsky was born on 5 August 1974 in Yerevan, Armenian SSR to ethnic Ukrainian parents. Club career Roman was voted Russia's best goalkeeper in the late 1990s.
