The 2013–14 season was Edinburgh Rugby's thirteenth season competing in the Pro14, Pro12. Edinburgh Rugby
Edinburgh Rugby (formerly Edinburgh Reivers, Edinburgh Gunners) is one of the two professional rugby union teams from Scotland. The club competes in the United Rugby Championship, along with the Glasgow Warriors, its oldest rival. Edinburgh plays most of its home games at Edinburgh Rugby Stadium. The original Edinburgh District team played the first ever inter-district match against Glasgow District in 1872, winning the match 3–0. The amateur district team was reformed with professionalism, as Edinburgh Rugby, in 1996 to compete in the Heineken Cup, its best performance coming in the 2011–12 season, when the club reached the semi-final but lost out narrowly to Ulster, 22–19. Omar Mouneimne
ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb ( ar, عمر بن الخطاب, also spelled Omar, ) was the second Rashidun caliph, ruling from August 634 until his assassination in 644. Oliver Atkins (rugby Union)
Oliver Atkins (born 12 August 1988 in Hobart, Australia) is a rugby union footballer. His regular playing position is lock. He previously played for Aviva Premiership side Exeter, when he left Edinburgh in the summer of 2015. He was named in the Waratahs squad for the 2013 Super Rugby season. Atkins previously made two appearances for the Western Force during the 2012 Super Rugby season. Alasdair Dickinson (born 11 September 1983) is a Scottish rugby union coach. He was previously a Scotland international rugby union player; and played for the clubs Edinburgh Rugby, Gloucester and Sale Sharks. He played as a prop. Geoffrey Dominic Sebastian Cross (born 11 December 1982) is a Scottish former rugby union player. He played as a tight-head prop for the Border Reivers, Edinburgh and London Irish. He won 40 caps for Scotland between 2009 and 2014. He is also a qualified doctor. Simon Berghan (born 7 December 1990) is a former Scotland international rugby union player. A prop forward, he played for Glasgow Warriors in the United Rugby Championship, having previously played for Edinburgh Rugby in the Pro14. Stuart McInally (born 9 August 1990) is a Scottish rugby union player who is currently plays for Scottish United Rugby Championship side Edinburgh Rugby. Beginning his career primarily at number eight and occasionally at flanker, McInally announced in August 2013 that he was focusing on a conversion to hooker.
