Debreceni Vasutas Sport Club is a professional football club, based in Debrecen, Hungary, that competes in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, the first tier of Hungarian football. They are best known internationally for reaching the group stages of the UEFA Champions League in the 2009–10 season. Debrecen have become the most successful club in Hungary since 2000, winning the Hungarian League seven times. History Debrecen was founded on 12 March 1902 as Debreceni Vasutas Sport Club. The club first reached the Nemzeti Bajnokság I in the 1943–44 season. Debrecen rose to domestic prominence in the early 2000s when they won their first Hungarian league title in 2004–05 season. Since then the club managed to win seven titles in the 2010s total. However, in the late 2010s the club lost its governmental support and started to decline. László Zsidai
László Zsidai (born 16 July 1986) is a Hungarian footballer who plays for Budaörs and the Hungary national team. He usually plays as a defensive midfielder, and can also play as a defender. On 19 June 2013, he signed for Debreceni VSC. He commented that he wants to win the Hungarian Championship and he didn't see chance for that with MTK Budapest FC. Ádám Bódi
Ádám Bódi (; born 18 October 1990) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays for Debreceni VSC. Club career Debrecen Bódi won the 2009–10 season of the Hungarian League with Debrecen despite his team lost to Kecskeméti TE in the last round. In 2010 Debrecen beat Zalaegerszegi TE in the Hungarian Cup final in the Puskás Ferenc Stadium by 3–2. Dušan Brković
Dušan Brković ( Serbian Cyrillic: Душан Брковић; born 20 January 1989) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Icelandic club KA Akureyri. Club career Born in Titovo Užice, Brković came through the youth system at Partizan, but never made it into the senior squad. He was instead loaned to affiliated club Teleoptik in order to gain experience. Before moving abroad, Brković made his Serbian SuperLiga debuts with Hajduk Kula and Smederevo. Igor Morozov (born 27 May 1989) is an Estonian football manager and former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Club career Levadia Morozov came through the youth system at Levadia. He won two Meistriliiga titles in 2008 and 2009, and was named Meistriliiga Player of the Year in 2012. Péter Máté (4 February 1947 – 9 September 1984) was a Hungarian pop singer, composer, and pianist. He was the composer and performer of nearly 150 songs, achieving cult status in Hungarian pop music. Career Péter Máté was born on 4 February 1947 in Budapest. He learned singing, playing piano and guitar from age 6 with a private teacher, and from 14, in a school of music. Discovering his talent and wide-spectrum voice, he was taught by known figures like composer György Geszler and András Bágya. Norbert Mészáros (; born 19 August 1980) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays for Hajdúszoboszló. He is usually deployed as a central defender but can also play left back.
