2013–14 Chesterfield F.C. Season
The 2013–14 season was Chesterfield's second in EFL League Two, League Two following relegation in 2012, and manager Paul Cook (footballer), Paul Cook's first full season in charge. After spending most of the season near the top of the table, Chesterfield were crowned League Two champions on the final day, to claim the League Two title for a record fourth time, and to seal their return to the third tier after a two-year absence. Nathan Smith (footballer, Born 1987)
Nathan Colin Leslie Smith (born 11 January 1987) is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back or centre-back for Isthmian League North Division side Hashtag United. Born in England, he represented Jamaica internationally. He started his career with part-time London clubs Enfield, Waltham Forest and Potters Bar Town. During his time at these clubs, he also worked as a computer analyst, before being discovered by League One side Yeovil Town. Club career Early career Smith started his football career at Enfield joining as a teenager and making 22 appearances, he then had a brief spell at Waltham Forest before signing for Isthmian League side Potters Bar Town. His then manager Steve Browne, an ex-Yeovil player, recommended him along with four others to his former club Yeovil Town. Aaron Chapman
Aaron James Chapman (born 29 May 1990) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Hereford. Career Chesterfield Chapman signed for Chesterfield from nearby non-league side Belper Town in the summer of 2013. He joined Chester on a one-month loan in February 2014. He made his professional debut on 2 September in the Football League Trophy match against Scunthorpe United, after coming off the bench to replace Tommy Lee in the seventh minute. On 23 September 2014, Chapman joined Accrington Stanley on a two-month loan deal. On 11 October, he had to be substituted in the closing stages of Accrington Stanley's 2–1 home defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge following an injury to his left foot. Jacob Hazel
Jacob Louis Hazel (born 15 April 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Boston United and the Saint Kitts and Nevis national team. He began his career as a youngster with Chesterfield, with whom he made his Football League debut in 2012, and went on to have a long career in non-league football, as well as playing in the Norwegian fourth tier. He was born in Bradford, England, the son of former Saint Kitts and Nevis international footballer Des Hazel, made his first international appearance for Saint Kitts and Nevis in 2016, and represented them at the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Jack Broadhead
Jack Patrick Broadhead (born 2 October 1994) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Belper Town. Playing career Born in Mansfield, England, and growing up as a Liverpool F.C., Liverpool supporter, Broadhead began his career at Chesterfield F.C., Chesterfield, and was named as the club's Young Player of the Year in 2011–12 Chesterfield F.C. season, 2011–12.
