2013–14 Championnat National
The 2013–14 Championnat National season was the 16th season since its establishment. The previous season's champions were Créteil. The season began on 9 August and ended on 23 May 2013. In the end of the season, Orléans, Luzenac and Gazélec Ajaccio were promoted to Ligue 2. Teams DNCG rulings The DNCG ruled that Le Mans FC, who was relegated in 2012–13 Ligue 2, was relegated to the Division Honneur due to financial reasons. FC Rouen, who ended as 5th on the 2012–13 Championnat National, was relegated to the Division Honneur due to the club accounting and its debts. Also, CS Sedan Ardennes, who was relegated in 2012–13 Ligue 2, was relegated to the Championnat de France amateur 2 due to its judiciary liquidation. The teams were replaced by FC Bourg-Péronnas who ended the 15th position, ES Uzès Pont du Gard (16th) and Paris FC (17th). Championnat National
The Championnat de France National ( en, French National Championship), commonly referred to as simply National or Division 3, serves as the third division of the French football league system behind Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Contested by 18 clubs, the Championnat National operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Ligue 2 and the Championnat National 2, the fourth division of French football. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 34 games each, totalling 306 games in the season. Most games are played on Fridays and Saturdays, with a few games played during weekday evenings. The Championnat National 3, commonly referred to as simply National 3 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur 2, is a football league competition. The league serves as the fifth division of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Championnat National, and the Championnat National 2. Usually contested by 168 clubs, the Championnat National 3 operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Championnat National 2 and the regional leagues of the Division d'Honneur, the sixth division of French football. USJA Carquefou is a French football team currently playing in Championnat National based in Carquefou, Loire-Atlantique. History The club was founded in 1942 as merger of two local clubs, ''Union Sportive de Carquefou'' and ''Jeanne d'Arc de Carquefou'', the latter being a sports team whose football section was founded three years earlier. Stade de la Licorne () is a multi-use stadium in Amiens, France. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Amiens SC. The stadium is able to hold 12,097 people and was built in 1999. The first match held in the stadium was the Trophée des Champions match between FC Nantes Atlantique and FC Girondins de Bordeaux on 24 July 1999. The stadium is visually striking, with an unusually large transparent roof. RC Lens played their home matches there for the 2014/15 Ligue 1 season because the Stade Bollaert-Delelis was being renovated for the 2016 European Championships. In 2018 the stadium underwent a remodel following a barrier collapse in the stands during a match against OSC Lille.
