2013–14 B Group
The 2013–14 B Group was the 58th season of the Bulgarian B Football Group, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system. The season starts on 3 August 2013 and finished in May 2014. On 21 June the executive committee of Bulgarian Football Union confirmed that the number of teams for the new season will remain 14. The teams play twice against each other, once home and once away, as it was the previous season. At the end of this season again there are just 2 teams promoted to the top tier of Bulgarian football (A PFG), but since there are 4 teams relegated from the top league so as to reduce the number of teams in it, there will be 4 teams relegated from B PFG at the end of the season as well, in order to keep the number of teams in the division 14. Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria)
The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Sixteen teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. Competition format A team receives 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Lyubimets 2007
FC Lyubimets ( bg, ФК Любимец) is a Bulgarian football club based in Lyubimets. The team was founded in 1921 and re-founded in 2007. They currently compete in the Bulgarian fourth tier, the Regional Football League of Haskovo. The club’s biggest achievement came in 2013, when Lyubimets managed to promote to the A Group for the first time in club history for the 2013–14 season. Lyubimets was relegated, however, and is yet to return to the top level. The club's home ground is the local Municipal Stadium in Lyubimets, which has an overall capacity of 4,000 seats. FC Botev Galabovo
Botev ( bg, Ботев) is a Bulgarian football club based in Galabovo, Stara Zagora Province. The club last played in the Second League, the second division of Bulgarian football, having been promoted as champions of the South-Eastern V Group in 2012–13. The club was founded in 1945. Botev's home ground is the Energetik Stadium, a 3,000 all-seater stadium. At the end of the 1969–70 season, Botev reached the second tier of Bulgarian football for the first time in their history. However, they were relegated the following season despite their efforts. History Botev Galabovo was founded in 1945. The Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League ( bg, Трета аматьорска футболна лига, Treta Amat'orska Futbolna Liga), commonly referred to as Third League ( bg, Трета лига) or Treta liga, is the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. Third League operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the second and the fourth tier of the Bulgarian football league pyramid – respectively being Second League and the A Oblast Groups. Currently Third League consists of four divisions that are formed by separating the country into four regions: ''North-West'', ''South-West'', ''North-East'' and ''South-East''. The divisions run in parallel during the season, but since the number of teams in each division may vary, the number of rounds in each of them may vary. OFK Spartak ( bg, ОФК Спартак) is a Bulgarian municipal association football club from the city of Pleven founded on 10 September 1919. It currently competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football. The team's greatest achievements are the Bulgarian Cup final in 1957 and the third place in the Bulgarian Championship during the following season. Spartak was once among the most prominent and consistent teams in the Bulgarian A Group. Between 1952 and 1988, Spartak only missed 5 seasons of top flight football. FC Septemvri ( bg, ФК Септември) is a Bulgarian football club based in Simitli, which currently plays in the Third League, the third tier of the Bulgarian football league system. History The club was founded in 1942. From 1961 to 1975, it was called "Pirin miner". The players at that time were mostly young boys from the age of 18 to 20, with the exception of goalkeeper Dimitar Atanasovski (former player from Belasitsa). The recruited coach was Stoimenov and assistant coach was Radoslav Mitrevski (former player of CSKA Sofia and OFC Pirin Blagoevgrad). As of 2011, Septemvri is officially affiliated as a satellite to Levski Sofia. Football Club Volov 1929 Shumen ( bg, Футболен Клуб Волов 1929 Шумен) is a Bulgarian football club, playing in the city of Shumen, which currently competes in the North-East Third League. The club was established in 1929 under the name "Panayot Volov", and folded its senior team in 2014, before being 'refounded' in July 2018. Shumen last played in the top tier of Bulgarian football during the 1999–2000 season. PFC Vidima-Rakovski Sevlievo ( bg, ПФК Видима-Раковски Севлиево) was a Bulgarian football club based in Sevlievo- Balabanica, which competed in various Bulgarian football leagues (ultimately the North-West V AFG, the third level of Bulgarian football) before dissolving in 2015. The club was established on September 2, 1997 as Vidima-Rakovski. It was the successor to SC Rakovski, which was founded on December 19, 1922. Vidima-Rakovski played in the lower divisions of the Bulgarian football league system until 2003, when the club was promoted to the top division. OFC Sliven 2000
FC Sliven (ФК Сливен) is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Sliven, currently playing in the Third League, the third level of Bulgarian football. The club's home ground is the Hadzhi Dimitar Stadium in Sliven with a capacity of 15,000. Club colors are orange and blue. FC Sliven was founded in 1914. The team made several appearances in the Bulgarian top tier, starting from 1963, establishing itself as one of the strongest teams from Southeast Bulgaria. Sliven reached its peak in 1990, when the team managed to win the Bulgarian Cup, its only major trophy to date. This achievement qualified the team for the European Cup Winners' Cup for that season, where Sliven faced Italian team Juventus. FC Etar Veliko Tarnovo ( bg, ФК Етър Велико Търново) is a former Bulgarian professional football club based in Veliko Tarnovo. They were last competing in the 2012–13 season of the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the top tier of professional football in Bulgaria. The club replaced the old FC Etar (Veliko Tarnovo), which won the Bulgarian championship in 1991. FC Montana ( bg, ФК Монтана) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Montana, which currently plays in the Second League, the second level of Bulgarian football league system. Montana plays its home matches at the Ogosta Stadium, which has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. The club's traditional colours are blue, white and red. FC Minyor ( bg, ФК Миньор) is a football club in Pernik, Bulgaria, that competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football. Founded in 1919 as SC Krakra, the club's home ground since 1954 has been Stadion Minyor. The club's name comes from the fact that the area around the city of Pernik has had long traditions with mining and the mining industry.
