2013 Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League
The 2013 Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League season (known as the Castle Larger Premier Soccer League for sponsorship reasons) will be the thirty third season of the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League since its establishment in 1980. The season began on 28 March 2013. Dynamos are the defending champions, having won the previous 2012 Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League season. The season will feature 12 teams from the 2012 ZPSL season and four new teams promoted from the 2012 Zifa Division One League: How Mine, Triangle United F.C., Triple B and Black Rhinos who replace relegated Buffaloes F.C., Harare City Harare (; formerly Salisbury ) is the capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League
Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League is the top professional division of the Zimbabwe Football Association. It was founded in 1980, as a successor to the 1962 formed ''Rhodesia National Football League.'' It is currently sponsored by Delta Beverages under the Castle Lager brand and hence is known as Castle Lager Premier Soccer League. The current sponsorship deal runs from 2011 and is worth $3.6 million. The league consists of 18 teams listed below, that play a total of 34 matches. The season runs from April to November. Most matches are played during weekends on Saturdays and Sundays. Postponed matches are played midweek. At the end of the season four teams are relegated into the lower division and an equal number promoted. The end of season winner qualifies for the CAF Champions League, while the Cup of Zimbabwe winners gains entry into the CAF Confederation Cup. Barbourfields Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, home to Highlanders FC. It is currently used mostly for football matches. Mandava Stadium
The Mandau ( cs, Mandava) is a river in Bohemia (Czech Republic) and Saxony (Germany). It is a left tributary of the Lusatian Neisse, which it joins near Zittau. It originates from multiple springs north of the 580.6m (1902 feet AMSL) Wolf Mountain (Czech: ''Vlčí hora'', German: ''Wolfsberg'') in the Šluknov Hook, which join in Panský (German: Herrnwalde) at 1690 feet above sea level. Coming from Zahrady (German: Gärten) another stream joins in Nové Křečany (Neu Ehrenberg). From there the Mandau flows in a southeasterly direction through Rumburk (Rumburg; Bohemia), Seifhennersdorf (Saxony, Upper Lusatia) and Varnsdorf (Warnsdorf; Bohemia). Zvishavane
Zvishavane (known until 1982 as Shabani) is a mining town in Midlands Province, Zimbabwe. Surrounded by low hills, it lies west of Masvingo, on the main Bulawayo-Masvingo road. Other roads lead from Zvishavane to Gweru, north, and Mberengwa, south-west. It is also on direct rail links to Gweru and Beit Bridge which then link up with Harare and Bulawayo in Zimbabwe and to Maputo in Mozambique, and Pretoria in South Africa. It has a private airport serving the city. Name Zvishavane was formerly called ''Shabanie'' (used by the mine) or ''Shabani'' (used for the town). The National Sports Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium, in Harare, Zimbabwe, with a maximum capacity of 80,000 people. It is the largest stadium in Zimbabwe.
