2013 Women's South American Volleyball Club Championship
The 2013 Women's South American Volleyball Club Championship was the fifth official edition of the women's volleyball tournament, played by five teams from 1 – 5 May 2013 in Miraflores, Lima, Peru. Unilever qualified to the 2013 FIVB Women's Club World Championship. Competing clubs Round robin The competition system for the tournament was a single round robin system. Each team plays once against each of the four remaining teams. Points are accumulated during the whole tournament, and the final ranking is determined by the total points gained. Milagros Moy
Milagros Alicia Moy Alvarado (born October 17, 1975) is a volleyball player from Peru who twice represented her native country at the Summer Olympics: 1996 and 2000. She played as a wing spiker. Career Moy won with the Peruvian club Cristal Bancoper the silver medal in the 1995 South American Club Championship played in Medellin, Colombia. Moy played for the German team "Rote Raben Vilsbiburg" for the 2008/09 season. For the 2009-10 season, Moy played with Valeriano Alles Menorca Volei in the Spanish Superliga Femenina de Voleibol. Moy returned to play in the Peruvian League, signing with the Universidad César Vallejo club. She won the league championship with the club in that season and was awarded Most Valuable Player. She then played the South American Club Championship and her club lost to Brazilian Unilever, winning the silver medal and the Best Server individual award. Bernardo Rezende
Bernardo Rocha de Rezende (born 25 August 1959), known as Bernardo Rezende and nicknamed Bernardinho, is a Brazilian volleyball coach and former player. He is the current coach of the female volleyball team Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube. Rezende is the most successful coach in the history of volleyball, accumulating more than 30 major titles in twenty-year career directing the Brazilian male and female teams. He has won two Olympic gold medals during his coaching career, as head coach of Brazil men's national volleyball team at Athens 2004 and Rio 2016 Olympics. He also won two bronze medals as head coach of Brazil women's national volleyball team at 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney. Luciane Escouto
Luciane Freire Escouto (born 21 June 1987 in São Leopoldo) is a Brazilian volleyball player and a model. She devoted herself defending the newly created team volleyball Fluminense, with which it signed a contract to play for the championship in Rio in 2012. Before, she defended the team Mackenzie Sports Club Minas Gerais, having also spent by the teams of Osasco, Pinheiros, Banespa, Macae and Brusque. Fabiana "Fabi" Alvim de Oliveira (born 7 March 1980 in Rio de Janeiro) is a retired volleyball player from Brazil who won the gold medal at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Career Fabiana started playing volleyball at the age of 13, specializing in defense - and later the libero position - due to her short height. De Oliveira was first called up to the Brazil women's national volleyball team in 2002, under coach Marco Aurélio Motta. She lost her place under his replacement, José Roberto Guimarães, and only returned to being a mainstay of the team in 2005.
