2013 USL W-League Season
The 2013 W-League season is the 19th season of the league's existence, and 10th season of second division women's soccer in the United States. The regular season started on May 11 and ended on July 14. USL W-League
The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (Division I) in the hierarchy. The USL is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The league is owned and operated by United Soccer League and was formed as result of the merger of their USL First (USL-1) and Second Divisions (USL-2), following the 2010 season which saw neither the USL-1 nor the North American Soccer League (NASL) receive Division II sanctioning from the USSF, resulting in the temporary USSF Division 2 Pro League. New York Magic
New York Magic is an American women’s soccer team, founded in 1997. The team was an original member of United Women's Soccer from 2016-2017. They played in the USL W-League from 1997 until the league folded after the 2015 season. The team plays its home games at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. The club's colors are red, black and white. Over the years, the team has attracted high level players from many nations and top-level college programs. Its mission is to provide an avenue for the development of women soccer players in a highly competitive environment, and to provide wholesome quality family entertainment while developing the game of soccer in its community. The Long Island Rough Riders are an American soccer team based in South Huntington, New York, United States. Founded in 1994, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team plays its home games at Hofstra University Soccer Stadium. The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is a professional women's soccer league at the top of the United States league system. It is owned by the teams and, until 2020, was under a management contract with the United States Soccer Federation. The NWSL was established in 2012 as the successor to Women's Professional Soccer (WPS; 2007–2012), which was itself the successor to Women's United Soccer Association (2001–2003). Victoria Highlanders Women
Victoria Highlanders FC is a Canadian women's soccer team based in Victoria, British Columbia that plays in League1 British Columbia. The team was founded in 2001 as the Victoria Stars FC. In 2010, the team was acquired by the Victoria Highlanders and re-branded to serve as their women's team. In 2012, they became known as the Peninsula Co-Op Women's Soccer Highlanders. The Vancouver Whitecaps FC women was a Canadian soccer club based in Vancouver, British Columbia that played in the USL W-League, the second tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada.
