The 2012–13 Slovak Cup, also known as Slovnaft Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 44th edition of the competition. 43 clubs participated in the tournament. The winners of the competition, ŠK Slovan Bratislava, as a 2013–14 Slovak First Football League champions qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2013–14 UEFA Champions League. Miroslav Barčík (born 26 May 1978) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for TJ Divina. His former club was a Corgoň Liga club MŠK Žilina. Jakub Paur (born 4 July 1992) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Niké liga club Spartak Trnava. Club career He grew up in Višňové, near Žilina. Michal Škvarka (born 19 August 1992) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Hungarian club Győr. Serge Ognadon Akakpo (born 15 October 1987) is a Togolese footballer who played as a centre-back. Career Club Akakpo began his career with Auxerre after breaking through the youth academy, he made his first-team debut with Auxerre in July 2007.
