2013 Pro Mazda Championship
The 2013 Pro Mazda Championship was the 15th season in series history and first under new promoter Andersen Promotions. Andretti Autosport driver Matthew Brabham won the championship with two races remaining capturing a series-record 11th win in his rookie season. Andretti Autosport is an auto racing team that competes in the IndyCar Series, Indy Lights, Indy Pro 2000, and Formula E. The team also has a 37.5% ownership stake in the Australian Supercars Championship touring car team, Walkinshaw Andretti United and a stake in the Extreme E team, Andretti United. Anders Krohn (born 15 November 1987) is a Norwegian racing driver from Stavanger. Racing career After a youth in karting, Krohn moved to cars in the Swedish Junior Touring Car Championship in 2006. In 2007 he primarily raced in Benelux Formula Ford series but made a few appearances in other Formula Ford series and participated in the Formula Ford Festival, finishing 11th in Duratec class. In 2008 he moved to the United States and competed in the F2000 Championship Series for Andersen Racing where he won the championship. In 2009 he competed for Mundill in the Star Mazda Championship, winning at the Milwaukee Mile and finishing 6th in points. For the 2010 season he stayed in Star Mazda but returned to Andersen Racing. Petri Suvanto (born November 13, 1992) is a Finnish racing driver from Seinäjoki. After winning and placing highly in several Finnish karting championships and finishing 4th in 2008 CIK-FIA KF2 European Championships, Suvanto moved to car racing in 2010 in Formula BMW Europe for Josef Kaufmann Racing. He finished eleventh in points with a best finish of sixth at Zandvoort and Silverstone. Seeking a change of venue for 2011, Suvanto entered the American Road to Indy ladder in the U.S. F2000 National Championship. Suvanto captured four poles, five wins, and finished on the podium in all but one of the season's twelve races. Dalton Kellett (born August 19, 1993) is a Canadian racing driver from Stouffville, Ontario. He competes in the IndyCar Series, driving for A. J. Foyt Racing. Team Pelfrey is an American racing team in the F1600 Championship Series and F2000 Championship Series. The team is owned by Dale Pelfrey. Indy Racing League (1998–2000) John Paul Jr. replaced Danny Ongais as driver for the 1998 Indianapolis 500 due to Ongais crashing and suffering a concussion. Paul Jr. finished seventh and led the race. Robby Unser drove for Pelfrey in 1999. Lyn St. James failed to qualify for the 1999 Indianapolis 500 due to rain on the final qualifying day and a backup car accident. The team was put up for auction on eBay in June 1999.
