The 2013 Ondrej Nepela Trophy was the 21st edition of an annual senior international figure skating competition held in Bratislava, Slovakia. It took place on October 3–5, 2013 at the Ondrej Nepela Ice Rink. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dancing. 2013–14 Figure Skating Season
The 2013–14 figure skating season began on July 1, 2013, and ended on June 30, 2014. During this season, elite skaters competed at the Olympic level in the 2014 Winter Olympics and at the ISU Championship level in the 2014 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. Manuel Koll (born 14 September 1987) is an Austrian former competitive figure skater. He is a two-time (2007 & 2008) Austrian national champion and reached the free skate at two ISU Championships — the 2007 World Junior Championships in Oberstdorf and the 2008 European Championships in Zagreb. She is a two-time Danish national champion, won three senior international medals, and placed 16th at the 2013 European Championships. Justus Strid
Justus Strid (born 29 April 1987) is a retired Danish figure skater. He is the 2012 Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalist, a three-time Nordic silver medalist, and a seven-time Danish national champion. Career Strid originally competed for Sweden. In 2004, he moved to Hørsholm, Denmark to be coached by Henrik Walentin and Julia Sandstrom. He himself began working as a coach at about the same time, teaching skating to children. He later changed coaches, deciding to work with his brother, Kalle Strid, and Martin Johansson. He lives in the center of Copenhagen and trains in Skatingclub Copenhagen (SKK). Strid began skating for Denmark in the 2007–08 season. This was after the Danish skating federation asked him to represent them. He won his first national title that season. Neil Brown (born 11 March 1990) is a French ice dancer. He competes with Lucie Myslivečková for the Czech Republic. Until 2010, he competed for France with various partners. Representing Slovakia with Lukáš Csölley, she competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Matěj Novák (born 6 November 1989) is a Czech former competitive ice dancer. With former partner Lucie Myslivečková, he is the 2010 Golden Spin of Zagreb champion and the 2011 Czech national champion. He currently competes with Gabriela Kubová. Career Myslivečkova and Novák won a silver and bronze on the Junior Grand Prix circuit. They finished as high as 8th at Junior Worlds in 2009 and debuted at senior Worlds in the same season. Gabriela Kubová (born 9 May 1993) is a Czech ice dancer who competes with Matěj Novák. With former partner Dmitri Kiselev, she is the 2012 Czech national champion. Career Early in her career, Kubová skated with Petr Seknička. They competed on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series for two seasons. In 2009, Kubová teamed up with Russian ice dancer Dmitri Kiselev to compete for the Czech Republic.
