The 2013 Ohio Bobcats football team represented Ohio University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by ninth-year head coach Frank Solich and played their home games at Peden Stadium. They are a member of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). They finished the season 7–6, 4–4 in MAC play to finish in a tie for third place in the East Division. They were invited to the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl where they lost to East Carolina. Frank Solich
Frank Thomas Solich (born September 8, 1944) is a former American football coach and former player. He is the former head coach at Ohio University, a position he held from 2005 until 2021. From 1998 to 2003, Solich served as the head coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he also played fullback under Bob Devaney in the mid-1960s. Early life and playing career Solich grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Holy Name High School in 1962, where he earned all-state, All-America, and all-scholastic honors. He scored 104 points in high school but was being overlooked due his height, 5'7", and weight, 153 lbs. When he got to his college weigh-in he got his trainer to tape 8 pound weights under his shorts. He now made weight at 162 lbs. 2013 Marshall Thundering Herd Football Team
The 2013 Marshall Thundering Herd football team represented Marshall University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by fourth-year head coach Doc Holliday and played their home games at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. They were a member of the East Division of Conference USA. They finished the season 10–4, 7–1 in C-USA play to win the East Division title. The 2013 Miami RedHawks football team represented Miami University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season and finished the season with an record. They were led by head coach Don Treadwell for the first five then led by interim head coach Mike Bath of their final seven games. They played their home games at Yager Stadium and competed as a member of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. Rynearson Stadium
Rynearson Stadium, nicknamed "The Factory", is a stadium in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Eastern Michigan University Eagles. Currently, the stadium has seating for 30,200 people. Standing room is available in the south end zone, allowing for crowds larger than the listed capacity. The stadium is located on the school's west campus, just south of the Huron River. History The stadium held its first game on September 27, 1969, when EMU upset the University of Akron, 10–3.
