The 2013 Mongolian Premier League also known as Niislel Lig or Capital League is the 46th edition of the tournament. The number of teams reduce to seven due to the withdrawal of Ulaanbaataryn Mazaalaynuud in the 2012 season. It started on 1 May and ended on 31 August 2013. Erchim won the tournament for the eighth time by beating Khangarid 4–1 in penalties. Erchim will also advance to the 2014 AFC President's Cup representing Mongolia. National Sports Stadium (Mongolia)
National Sports Stadium (In mn, Үндэсний спортын цэнгэлдэх хүрээлэн ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It is used mostly for football matches and has a capacity 12,500. The Naadam festival, which celebrates Mongolian independence, is held there every July. The land owned by the stadium company is about 27 hectares, of which the stadium takes about 8 hectares of land. The National Sport Stadium in Mongolia hosted the 2016 World University Archery Championship. History The stadium was established in 1958 by Russian construction in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Since then, it has not been majorly renovated, although it gets a little painting and touch up once a year. 2014 AFC President's Cup
The 2014 AFC President's Cup was the tenth and the last edition of the AFC President's Cup, a football competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for clubs from "emerging countries" in Asia. Balkan were the defending champions, but failed to qualify for the tournament. On 25 November 2013, the AFC Competitions Committee proposed that the 2014 AFC President's Cup to be the last edition of the competition. Starting from 2015, league champions of "emerging countries" are eligible to participate in the AFC Cup qualifying play-off. In the final, HTTU Aşgabat of Turkmenistan defeated Rimyongsu of North Korea 2–1, and became the second consecutive team from Turkmenistan to win the AFC President's Cup. League standings All the teams played each other twice. the team which had the most points in two rounds became the winner. Mongolian Football Federation Cup Ten teams participated in the 2012 Mongolian Football Federation Cup. The final was played on 15 September 2012. Erchim defeated Khasiin Khulguud in a penalty shoot-out, after the match ended in extra time with a 1-1 draw. Super Cup The 2012 Super Cup was played on 30 September 2012 between the league winner Erchim and the cup runner-up Khasiin Khulguud. It is usually played between the winners of the Niislel League and the Mongolian Football Federation Cup, but Erchim won both titles this year. Erchim defeated Khasiin Khulguud 7-2.
