The 2013 Melon Music Awards were held on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea. Olympic Gymnastics Arena
The Olympic Gymnastics Arena (), also known as the KSPO Dome since 2018, is an indoor arena located within the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea. It has a capacity of 15,000 and can be extended upto 20,000. It was constructed between 31 August 1984 and 30 April 1986, to host the gymnastics competitions at the 1988 Summer Olympics. The roof was designed by David H. Geiger. It is a self-supporting cable dome – the first of its kind ever built – with a four-layer fabric cladding. Amy Lee (born May 30, 1989), known professionally as Ailee, is an American singer and songwriter based in South Korea. Amassing digital sales success in South Korea, she has released four studio albums, six extended plays, and twenty one singles, six of which charted within the top five of the Gaon Digital Chart. Highlight (Korean: ) is a South Korean boy band formerly known as Beast (Korean: 비스트). The band consists of four members: Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon. Originally a six-piece band, Jang Hyun-seung departed from the group in April 2016, and Yong Jun-hyung departed in March 2019. In late 2016, the group moved labels from Cube Entertainment to Around Us Entertainment and subsequently changed their name to Highlight in 2017. Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. Dynamic Duo ( ko, 다이나믹듀오) is a South Korean hip hop duo that consists of rappers Choiza and Gaeko. They rose to fame with their 2004 debut album, ''Taxi Driver'', which became the best-selling Korean hip hop album ever. They are signed to Amoeba Culture, a hip hop record label that they founded in 2006. History Choiza and Gaeko were friends since childhood and debuted in 1999 with the hip hop trio CB Mass. "Wolf" ( ko, 늑대와 미녀, rr= Neukdaewa Minyeo, lit=Wolf and the Beauty; ) is a song by South Korean–Chinese boy band Exo, released on May 30, 2013, as the lead single of their first studio album '' XOXO''. It was released in both Korean and Chinese versions by their label SM Entertainment, and was their first song recorded by all twelve members. Background "Wolf" was composed by Will Simms, Nermin Harambašić from Dsign Music and S.M. Entertainment resident songwriter Kenzie. Lee Moon-sae (; ; born January 17, 1959) is a South Korean ballad singer who is often considered a Korean pop icon. Huh Gak (; born November 15, 1984) is a South Korean singer. He rose to fame after winning the 2010 Mnet talent competition series ''Superstar K 2,'' during which he became known as "the Korean Paul Potts." Early life and education Huh Gak was born in Incheon, South Korea on November 15, 1984. His parents divorced when he was three years old, and he and his twin brother, Huh Gong, were raised by their father. Due to this family's financial difficulties, Huh dropped out of school after finishing middle school and worked as a repairman and event singer. Huh later earned his high school diploma in 2018.
