2013 Kunming Challenger
The 2013 Kunming Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the first edition of the tournament which was part of the 2013 ATP Challenger Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Li Zhe (; ; born September 20, 1986) is a Chinese tennis player who plays mainly in the ATP Challenger and ITF Futures Tours. On 11 November 2019, he reached his highest ATP singles ranking of world No. 193. His highest doubles ranking of world No. 136 was achieved on 28 February 2011. Personal Li Zhe was born in Tianjin, China on September 20, 1986. He began playing tennis at age 8 and turned professional in 2004. He plays right-handed, and his favorite surface is hard court. Gao Xin (; Mandarin pronunciation: ; born 12 May 1994, in Tianjin) is a Chinese male tennis player. Gao was a wild card and lost in the first round of the 2014 ATP Shenzhen Open. Gao reached a career-high singles ranking of world No.434 on November 7, 2016, and a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 203 on April 2, 2018. Chris Guccione (tennis)
Christopher Luke Guccione ( ; born 30 July 1985) is an inactive Australian professional tennis player from Greenvale, Victoria. He has won five ATP Tour doubles titles, and reached career-high rankings of singles world No. 67 in April 2008 and doubles world No. 38 in November 2014. Personal life Guccione is of Italian descent on his father's side. He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. He is married to Andra Kucerak, with whom he has two children. Rik de Voest (born 5 June 1980) is a former professional South African tennis player. He achieved his career-high singles ranking of world No. 110 in August 2006. Rik resides in Vancouver, Canada where he pursues a career in real estate. De Voest qualified for the 2007 Wimbledon Championships where he lost to Marat Safin in the first round. James McGee (tennis)
James McGee (born 10 June 1987) is an Irish former professional tennis player. He was born in Castleknock, Ireland. He attended Belvedere College in Dublin, Co. Dublin. Personal life McGee was born to Kieran and Marie McGee. He started playing tennis at the age of seven at Castleknock. He won his school's tennis championship in 2002, 2003 and 2004, and was also awarded the Most Outstanding Player of the Year in Ireland in 2003.
