The 2013 Israeli Beach Soccer League was a national beach soccer league that took place between 31 May and 26 July 2013, in Netanya, Israel. Israeli Beach Soccer League
The Israeli Beach Soccer League ( he, הליגה הישראלית בכדורגל חופים), currently known as Ligat Bank Yahav ( he, ליגת בנק יהב) for sponsorship reasons, is the top division in the Israeli Beach Soccer league. In July 2007 the league was inaugurated under the supervision of the Israel Football Association. To celebrate the launch of the league, a friendly game between national teams of England and Israel was played, with the Israelis winning 6–5. Background The league first edition took place every Friday at Netanya Poleg beach on newly built beach sports stadium. The players participating in ''ligat San-Miguel'' were active and retired football players, Futsal players and some talents who was found by the league scouts. At the end of the season, "Netanya's diamonds" won the championship, after beating "MZ Rosh HaAyin" 5–2 in the final. Shuki Nagar
Shuki Nagar ( he, שוקי נגר; born October 7, 1977) is a former Israeli footballer. Career Nagar was considered one of the hottest prospects in Israeli football during his youth at Bnei Yehuda. Injuries and a lack of playing time hampered his ascension to becoming a prominent figure in Israeli football, and most of his career he bounced around between relegation bound clubs in the Israeli Premier League and clubs who were trying to get promotion from Liga Leumit. On June 25, 2012 Nagar signed with Maccabi Yavne, he played there for 3 years. In the middle of the 2014-15 season, Nagar started to work as the CEO of the club. He was fired from his job in the end of the 2015-16 season as Yavne got relegated to Liga Alef. Yossi Shai Benayoun ( he, יוסי שי בניון; born 5 May 1980) is an Israeli former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He spent most of his career in England and captained the Israel national team. Born in Dimona, he is sometimes nicknamed "The Diamond from Dimona" in Israel. Benayoun played for Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Maccabi Haifa before moving to Racing de Santander in Spain. Three years later he moved to the Premier League with West Ham United, and later Liverpool. Itzik Zohar ( he, איציק זוהר; born October 31, 1970) is an Israeli former international footballer and television sports personality. Born in Bat Yam, Israel to a family of North African extraction, he holds the distinction of scoring the first two goals for Israel in its first World Cup qualifier in the UEFA confederation on October 28, 1992. He is widely regarded as having been one of the best free kick takers in Israeli football. Pini Balili ( he, פִּינִי בַּלִילִי; born 18 June 1979) is an Israeli former football manager and former player. He was born in Jerusalem and is Jewish, of Turkish descent. Career Move back to Hapoel As a youngster, Balili grew up supporting Hapoel Tel Aviv and was part of the youth system there before moving to Shimshon Tel Aviv in his teens. Eyal Golan ( he, אייל גולן; born Eyal Bitton; 12 April 1971) is an Israeli singer who sings in the Mizrahi music pop fusion genre, and considered one of the most successful singers in Israel. Golan reported the highest income of all singers in Israel in 2011. Early life Eyal Bitton was born in Rehovot, Israel, to a family of both Sephardic Jewish ( Moroccan-Jewish) and Mizrahi Jewish ( Yemenite-Jewish) descent.
