Stadium College Sports (formerly Fox College Sports) is a group of three American sports networks. Owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group and Entertainment Studios (under the joint venture Diamond Sports Group), the three channels air college and high school sporting events and programming. Coffey Field
Jack Coffey Field is a 7,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in the northeast United States, located on the campus of Fordham University in The Bronx, New York. It is the Fordham Rams' home for football, men's and women's soccer, and baseball. The facility opened for baseball in 1930, and was named in 1954 for baseball coach and longtime athletic director Jack Coffey, four years before his 1958 retirement. Starting in 1964, students began using the left field and center field area for their club football team. The team was sponsored by the students themselves and it was these same students who rented temporary wooden stands, to be set around the gridiron, for the 1964 and 1965 seasons. The university stepped in to build permanent wooden stands behind the left field fence, which served as a grandstand for football. Ram–Crusader Cup
The Ram–Crusader Cup is the name of the trophy awarded to the winner of the annual football game between the Fordham Rams football, Fordham Rams and the Holy Cross Crusaders football, Holy Cross Crusaders. Both schools are members of the Patriot League. Origin of the Cup The Ram–Crusader Cup was instituted in 1951 to honor the memory of Major Frank Cavanaugh (American football), Frank W. Cavanaugh. The idea for the Cup came from William P. Walsh, at the time, a Holy Cross undergrad. Walsh was working at a summer camp headed by then Fordham head coach, Ed Danowski, when hearing that the Rams and Crusaders were restarting their series. Despite being enrolled at Holy Cross, Walsh grew up on Long Island as a Fordham football fan. The 2013 Fordham Rams football team represented Fordham University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by second year head coach Joe Moorhead and played their home games at Coffey Field. They were a member of the Patriot League. Fordham was not eligible for the Patriot League championship because they use scholarship players while the rest of the league's members do not. Fordham's official conference record was 0–0 and did not occupy a spot in the conference standings. Though ineligible for the conference title, Fordham finished 11–1 to earn an at-large bid in the FCS playoffs where they defeated Sacred Heart in the first round before losing in the second round to Towson. Christy Mathewson–Memorial Stadium is a 13,100-seat multi-purpose stadium at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Originally built in 1924, the stadium was renovated and renamed in honor of Mathewson in 1989. It is home to the Bucknell Bison football team from the Patriot League and the Lewisburg Area High School Green Dragons football team.
