2013 Hamilton Tiger-Cats Season
The 2013 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was the 56th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 64th overall. The Tiger-Cats finished in 2nd place in the East Division with a 10–8 record, which was their first winning season since 2004. The Ti-Cats played in their first Grey Cup championship game since 1999, but lost to the hometown Saskatchewan Roughriders 45-23 in the 101st Grey Cup. The Tiger-Cats primarily played their home games at Alumni Stadium in Guelph, Ontario while also playing one game at Moncton Stadium in Moncton, New Brunswick. Canadian Football League East Division
The East Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League, its counterpart being the West Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the East Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. Brent Urban (born May 5, 1991) is a Canadian professional American football defensive end for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Virginia. Urban is the 26th Canadian to ever be drafted to the NFL. The Calgary Dinos are the athletic teams that represent the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. They were known as the "Dinosaurs" but usually referred to as the "Dinos" until 1999, when the name was officially shortened. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. Linden David Gaydosh (born January 4, 1991) is a Canadian football defensive tackle who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played CIS football with the Calgary Dinos. Touchdown Atlantic ( French: ''Touché Atlantique'') is a series of neutral site Canadian Football League games played in the maritime provinces of Canada. In 2003, the league had struck a committee to examine the feasibility of adding a tenth team, with the leading candidate cities being Quebec City and Halifax.
