2013 FORU Oceania Cup
The 2013 FORU Oceania Cup for national rugby union teams in the Oceania region was held in Papua New Guinea at the Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby from 6 to 13 July. The won the cup, by winning the round-robin tournament over , , and , to progress to the second stage of the Oceania qualifiers for the 2015 Rugby World Cup and a play-off against . The Oceania Rugby Men's Championship (formerly known as the Oceania Cup) is an international rugby union competition for countries and territories from Oceania with national teams in the developmental band. It is administered by Oceania Rugby. The tournament has been played under various formats depending on the number and strength of the teams entered. The first competition was held in 1996-97 as part of the qualification process for the 1999 Rugby World Cup. The competition was officially re-launched as the FORU Oceania Cup for the 2007 season. From 2009 onward, it has been held bi-annually and it has been played under a round robin format since 2011, with the title awarded to the leading team on the ladder after all matches are completed. Lloyd Robson Oval
PNG Football Stadium (known as ''Lloyd Robson Oval'' until 2015) is a sporting ground in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. It hosted three games for the 1989–1992 Rugby League World Cup. It has been the home ground for the Papua New Guinea national rugby league team since 1975. It has a total capacity of approximately 15,000 and is the National Stadium of Papua New Guinea. The stadium was completely redeveloped in preparation for the 2015 Pacific Games. History Lloyd Robson Oval hosted its first Rugby league international on 6 July 1975 when PNG played host to England who were on their way to Australia and New Zealand for the down under leg of the 1975 World Cup. It is one of the largest cities in the southwestern Pacific (along with Jayapura) outside of Australia and New Zealand. The Federation of Oceania Rugby Unions (FORU) section of the 2015 Rugby World Cup qualification involved five teams competing for one spot in the final tournament in England. James Bolabiu (born 25 May 1983 in Suva, Fiji) is a Fijian international rugby union referee and Fiji's most experienced referee. He was an assistant referee at the 2008 Tri Nations Series matches between and in Sydney and Auckland. He also officiated at the 2008 IRB Junior World Championship held in Wales. After officiating at the 2008 Tri Nations Series, Bolabiu had a two-month stint in South Africa in the Currie Cup First Division competition.
