2013 FIBA Asia Champions Cup
The 2013 FIBA Asia Champions Cup was the 24th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia. The tournament was held in Amman, Jordan in September 13–21, 2013. The main venue was the Prince Hamzah Court. This marked the first occasion when Jordan have hosted any FIBA Asia event. Foolad Mahan from Iran, after going undefeated in the entire tournament, won its first ever FIBA Asia Champions Cup title after defeating Al-Rayyan from Qatar in the final game, 84–74. It was the fifth time a club from Iran has won the championship. ASU from the hosts Jordan, on the other hand, finished third in the tournament after defeating Al-Hala from Bahrain in the third-place game, 107-76. Qualification According to the FIBA Asia rules, the number of participating teams in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup is ten. Robert Daniels (basketball)
Robert Daniels (born August 30, 1968) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 2007, with a comeback in 2012. He held the WBA cruiserweight title from 1989 to 1991. Professional career Daniels turned pro in 1984 and in 1989 he captured the vacant WBA cruiserweight title by defeating a badly faded 36-year-old Dwight Muhammad Qawi in France. He defended the title twice before losing the title to Bobby Czyz in 1991 in a close split decision in Atlantic City. He continued to fight as both a cruiserweight and heavyweight through 1997. In his highest profile fights as a heavyweight, he lost to Lawrence Clay-Bey and David Tua. Quincy Douby (born May 16, 1984) is an American–born, naturalized Montenegrin former professional basketball player. At , , Douby played shooting guard for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The San Miguel Beermen was a professional basketball team that played in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) from 2012 to 2013. The team was from the Philippines and owned by San Miguel Corporation (SMC). This franchise was separate and distinct from the original Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) franchise which played as the "Petron Blaze Boosters" when this team was active. The Beermen played most of their home games at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig but also played some of their games in the Olivarez College Gym, Ynares Center, and PhilSports Arena.
