The 2013 FC Kairat season was the 3rd successive season that the club playing in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, since their promotion back to the top flight in 2009. Football Club Kairat ( kk, Qaırat Fýtbol Klýby) is a professional association football, football club based in Almaty, which plays in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of Football in Kazakhstan, Kazakh football. Founded in 1954 as Lokomotiv Alma-Ata, they became Urozhay in 1955 and Kairat in 1956. The club's home ground is the Central Stadium (Almaty), Central Stadium which has a capacity of 23,804. The club's home kit colours are yellow and black striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. Kairat was the leading Kazakh club during the Soviet period and the only representative of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic in the Soviet Top League. For this, Kairat became nicknamed ''The Nation's Team'', and remains to be widely supported all over the country. All in all, the club spent 24 seasons in the Soviet highest level. Mark Gurman (footballer)
Mark Mikhaylovich Gurman (russian: Марк Михайлович Гурман; he, מרק גורמן; born 9 February 1989 in Alma-Ata) is a Kazakhstani professional association football player who currently plays for Kyzylzhar and the Kazakhstan national team. Club career Gurman made aliyah at the age of fourteen without his parents. He was scouted by Shlomo Scharf who brought him to Israel as part of a project for young Jews to make aliyah without their parents. Gurman left FC Kairat in November 2015 after four seasons with the club. In February 2016, Gurman signed for Champions FC Astana. On 31 January 2018, Kaisar announced the signing of Gurman on a one-year contract. Alexei Eremenko (born Aleksei Alekseyevich Yeryomenko; russian: Алексей Алексеевич Ерёменко; born 24 March 1983) is a former professional footballer. He is from a footballing family, with his father, Alexei Eremenko Sr., and brother Roman Eremenko also playing professionally. Eremenko was born in Rostov-on-Don in the Soviet Union, but grew up in Finland. He made his breakthrough with HJK in 2002, and became known as versatile midfielder and a set piece specialist. Stuart Duff (born 23 January 1982) is a Scottish retired professional footballer who last played for Inverurie Loco Works in the Highland Football League.
