European Tour
The European Tour (currently known as the DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons), legally the PGA European Tour is the leading men's professional golf tour in Europe. The organisation also operates the European Senior Tour (for players aged fifty or older) and the developmental Challenge Tour; the second tier of men’s professional golf in Europe. The tour's headquarters are at the Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, England. The European Tour was established by the British-based Professional Golfers' Association through the 1970s, and responsibility was transferred to an independent PGA European Tour organisation in 1984. Sunshine Tour
The Sunshine Tour is a men's professional golf tour based in Southern and East Africa. For much of its early history it was known either as the South African Tour or Sunshine Circuit; through sponsorship deals, it has also been known as the Vodacom Tour and the FNB Tour. For the 2000–01 season the tour rebranded itself as the ''Sunshine Tour'' in an attempt to broaden its appeal. A large majority of the tour events are still staged in South Africa. The tour is one of the six leading men's tours which before 2009 made up the membership of the International Federation of PGA Tours, but it offers much less prize money than some of the leading tours, and leading Southern African golfers traditionally prefer to play on the PGA Tour or the European Tour if they can qualify to do so, typically returning to play in Sunshine Tour events a couple of times a year. Adam Gee (golfer)
Adam Gee (born 22 October 1980) is an English professional golfer. Amateur career Gee was born in Carshalton, England. He was a relative latecomer to golf, not attempting the game for the first time until the age of 15. Despite this, he earned a golf scholarship to the University of North Carolina Wilmington, but opted to take a role as a club assistant on his return as he doubted his ability to compete as a professional. Gee finished runner-up at the 2006 Amateur Championship. Professional career Gee eventually turned professional at the late age of 26, and began his career on the second-tier Challenge Tour. After four consistent seasons at this level, finishing between 40th and 65th every year, he came through the qualifying school at the end of 2010 to earn a position on the European Tour for 2011. Estanislao Goya
Carlos Estanislao "Tano" Goya (born 1 June 1988) is an Argentine professional golfer. Professional career After turning professional in 2007, Goya won the Tour de las Americas qualifying school by nine shots, and followed that with victory in the first event of the 2008 season, the Challenge Tour co-sanctioned Center Open, and third place in the Argentine Open. He went on to finish top of the Order of Merit that year. That first win also gave Goya Challenge Tour membership, and he finished the season by winning the Apulia San Domenico Grand Final, which lifted him to fifth in that tours final standings, gaining exemption to the full European Tour for 2009. He won the TPG Tour Order of Merit in 2008. In March 2009, in only his sixth start on the European Tour, Goya won the Madeira Islands Open BPI – Portugal, earning him full exemption on the tour until the end of 2010. Mikko Korhonen
Mikko Korhonen (born 23 July 1980) is a Finnish professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour. He won the 2018 Shot Clock Masters and the 2019 Volvo China Open. Professional career Korhonen turned professional at the late age of 24, and spent the initial part of his career on the third-tier Nordic League tour. In 2006 he stepped up to the Challenge Tour, where he enjoyed five productive seasons, never winning but never finishing worse than 73rd in the final standings. At the end of 2010, Korhonen progressed to the European Tour for the first time via qualifying school, but failed to retain his card for 2011. Korhonen returned to the Challenge Tour in 2012. Jason Knutzon
Jason Knutzon (born January 24, 1976) is an American professional golfer. Knutzon is a member of the Asian Tour and the European Tour. He is one of few Americans who mainly play on the Asian Tour. Knutzon has been to PGA Tour Qualifying School once. He entered in 2000 but failed to earn a tour card. He played on the Nationwide Tour in 2001 but he only made 7 of 19 cuts and was unable to retain his card. Knutzon joined the Asian Tour in 2003. In his rookie season he finished in 31st place on the Order of Merit and recorded three top 10 finishes. In 2004 Knutzon picked up his first professional win in China at the Macau Open. Lucas Bjerregaard
Lucas Justra Bjerregaard (born 14 August 1991) is a Danish professional golfer who plays the European Tour. In May 2017, playing with Thorbjørn Olesen, they won the inaugural GolfSixes, an unofficial pairs event on the European Tour. Later that year, in September, he had his first solo win on the European Tour, the Portugal Masters. In October 2018, Bjerregaard won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship for his second European Tour victory. Daniel Brooks (born 5 January 1987) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the Challenge Tour, having previously played on the European Tour and PGA EuroPro Tour. Professional career Brooks turned professional in 2007 and spent his first three years as a professional playing on the PGA EuroPro Tour. In 2009, Brooks recorded his first and only win on the PGA EuroPro Tour at the Sureshot GPS International Open at Bovey Castle. Andreas Hartø
Andreas Hartø (born 26 July 1988) is a Danish professional golfer. In August 2010, Hartø became just the fourth amateur to win on the European Challenge Tour when he captured the ECCO Tour Championship. He turned professional later in 2010, winning on the Challenge Tour for a second time in October of that year. This was still only his fourth event on the tour, making him the quickest ever to two wins at that level. Kevin Phelan (born 8 November 1990) is an Irish professional golfer who finished T62nd at the 2013 U.S. Open. Phelan was born in Waterford, Ireland and grew up in St. Augustine, Florida.
