2013 Desert Diamond Cup
The 2013 Desert Diamond Cup was a soccer exhibition featuring four soccer teams from Major League Soccer, held between February 13–23, 2013. The preseason tournament was played at the Kino Sports Complex 11,000 seat main stadium in Tucson, Arizona. This was the 3rd annual Desert Diamond Cup. Seattle Sounders Football Club is an American professional men's soccer club based in Seattle. The Sounders compete as a member of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer (MLS). The club was established on November 13, 2007, and began play in 2009 as an MLS expansion team. The Sounders are a phoenix club, carrying the same name as the original Sounders franchise that competed in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1974 to 1983. The club's majority owner is Adrian Hanauer, and its minority owners are the estate of Paul Allen, Drew Carey, and 14 families from the Seattle area. José Júlio Gomes Gonçalves (born 17 September 1985) is a retired Portuguese professional footballer who played as a left back or central defender. Ricardo Salazar (born September 6, 1972) is a referee who currently referees for the Professional Referee Organization and International Matches. He became a full-time referee in 2007. MLS Since becoming a fully professional referee in 2007, Salazar has officiated many matches in Major League Soccer. He has also officiated many important CONCACAF Champions Cup matches, including the CONCACAF Champions Cup Semi Final between Pachuca CF and CD Motagua. Michael Bustamante (born September 21, 1989) is a Colombian retired footballer. He is also the former head coach of Boston City FC in the National Premier Soccer League. Jámison Olave Mosquera (born April 21, 1981) is a Colombian former footballer who is currently the head coach of USL Championship side Real Monarchs. Marc Burch (born May 7, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American soccer player. Career College and amateur Burch played college soccer at the University of Evansville for three seasons from 2002–2004, scoring seven goals and assisting on 22 along the way, and spent the summer months playing for the Cleveland Internationals in the USL Premier Development League. Bradley Ray Evans (born April 20, 1985) is an American retired professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. He is now a color commentator for radio broadcasts of Seattle Sounders FC matches.
