2013 Christy Ring Cup
The 2013 Christy Ring Cup was the ninth staging of the Christy Ring Cup hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 2005. The cup competition began on 4 May 2013 and ended on 8 June 2013. London were defending champions, however, they were promoted to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. Down won the title following a 3-16 to 2-17 victory over Kerry in the final. Down GAA
The Down County Board ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae An Dún) or Down GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Ireland, and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Down, Northern Ireland. Kenny Feeney
Kenny Feeney (born 1991) is an Irish hurler who plays as a centre-forward for the Mayo senior team. Born in Tooreen, County Mayo, Feeney first played competitive hurling with Ballyhaunis Community School. He simultaneously came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Tooreen club. Feeney subsequently enjoyed success with the club's senior team, winning a Connacht medal in 2017. He has also won two county championship medals. Feeney made his debut on the inter-county scene when he was selected for the Mayo minor team, before joining the under-21 team. He made his senior debut during the 2010 league. Stephen Clynch
Steven Clynch (born 1984) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a left wing-forward for the Meath senior team. Clynch joined the panel and 2002 and made his first appearance for the senior team during the 2003 Walsh Cup and immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen. Since then he has won three Kehoe Cup medals and a Nicky Rackard Cup in 2009. He has been selected on the christy ring cup allstar team of the year in 2007,2009 2012 and 2013. Shane Nolan is a hurler from County Kerry. He has played with the Kerry intercounty team and with his local Crotta O'Neill's club. Club At club level Nolan plays with Crotta O'Neill's. He won the County League Div 1 title in 2010 beating County Championships Ballyduff in the final. In 2011 he helped Crotta O'Neill's to their first County Championship final in 12 years. Croke Park ( ga, Páirc an Chrócaigh, ) is a Gaelic games stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Named after Archbishop Thomas Croke, it is referred to as Croker by GAA fans and locals. It serves as both the principal national stadium of Ireland and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Pearse Park or Pearse's Park, () is an GAA stadium in Arklow, County Wicklow, Ireland. It is the home of the Wicklow hurling and camogie teams. The ground has a capacity of about 5,000. History Pearse name and redevelopment The ground is named after both the Pearse brothers executed in 1916; Patrick Pearse and Willie Pearse. It is believed that the ground was redeveloped around 1965. Former use Before the ground was redeveloped it was a greyhound racing track known as the Arklow Greyhound Track. Austin Stack Park is a GAA stadium in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. It is one of the stadiums used by Kerry GAA's Gaelic football team and the stadium of the hurling team. The Meath County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste na Mí) or Meath GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Meath, as well as for Meath county teams.
