2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The 2013 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship was an association football tournament that took place between February 18 and March 3, 2013. The CONCACAF U-20 Championship determined the four CONCACAF teams that would participate at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Qualified teams Four teams qualified through the Central American qualifying tournament and five qualified through the Caribbean qualifying tournament. Note: no titles or runners-up between 1998 and 2007. Bold indicates that the corresponding team was hosting the event. Benji Joya
Héctor Benjamín "Benji" Joya Jiménez (born September 22, 1993) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder. Club career Santos Laguna Joya, who is of Mexican descent grew up in the Bay Area of California, played in the USSF Development Academy for De Anza Force. In early 2012, he joined Santos Laguna's organization. He began playing during the 2012 Clausura with the club's U-20 team. In September 2012, the midfielder made his first team debut in a Liga MX match. Chicago Fire Joya was loaned to Chicago Fire with an option to buy ahead of the 2014 MLS season. Dillon Serna
Dillon Paul Serna (born March 25, 1994) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Colorado Rapids 2 in MLS Next Pro. He previously played in Major League Soccer for Colorado Rapids and in the USL Championship for Sporting Kansas City II and Colorado Springs Switchbacks. Career Club Serna joined the U.S. Soccer Development Academy with the Rapids' academy in 2009. After graduating from high school, he played one year of college soccer for the University of Akron, scoring two goals and contributing eight assists. Miguel Angel "Mikey" Lopez Jr. (born February 20, 1993) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a left-back for USL Championship club Birmingham Legion. Career College and amateur Born in Dallas, Texas, Lopez attended the St. Stephens Academy in Austin, Texas when he was in seventh grade in order to attract college scouts. Lopez then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for which he played for the university's soccer team, the North Carolina Tar Heels. Javan Rene Torre Howell (born October 20, 1993) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Detroit City in the USL Championship.
