Group A of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup was one of three groups competing of nations at 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The group's first round of matches were played on July 7, with the final round played on July 14. All six group matches were played at venues in the United States, in Pasadena, California, Seattle and Denver. 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 12th CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 22nd CONCACAF regional championship overall in CONCACAF's fifty years of existence. The United States was the host nation. The competition began on 7 July 2013 at the Rose Bowl, and ended with the final on 28 July 2013 at Soldier Field, with the United States defeating Panama 1–0. In this edition of the Gold Cup, Mexico participated with an alternative squad due to the main players competing at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup prior to the Gold Cup. Despite not playing with their full squad, they successfully reached the semi-finals where they lost to eventual runners-up Panama with a score of 1–2. David Edward Edgar (born May 19, 1987) is a Canadian professional soccer coach and former player who serves as assistant coach of Forge FC. Edgar represented Canada at various levels having made his debut for the Canadian senior team on February 9, 2011, and was a member of the Canadian U-20 team at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Colin Fyfe Miller (born 4 October 1964) is a Canadian professional soccer coach who captained the Canadian national team several times while earning 61 caps (scoring 5 goals) in total. Jonathan Osorio (born June 12, 1992) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Major League Soccer club Toronto FC and the Canada national team. William David Johnson (born January 21, 1987) is a Canadian soccer player who plays for Central Florida Panthers in the National Premier Soccer League and the Central Florida Crusaders in the National Indoor Soccer League.
