2013 BYU Cougars Baseball Team
The 2013 BYU Cougars baseball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball season. Mike Littlewood was in his 1st season as head coach of the Cougars. BYU's baseball team came off a 2012 season in which they were 22–27. The Cougars played their home games at Larry H. Miller Field, part of the Miller Park Baseball/ Softball Complex. Picked to finish sixth in the WCC, BYU stunned most people and finished in a 3-way tie for second place. The Cougars won the #3 seed in the WCC Tournament where they knocked out #1-seed Gonzaga. Mike Littlewood
Michael Rory Littlewood is an American baseball coach. He played college baseball at BYU from 1985 to 1988, before playing professionally in 1988. He then served as the head coach of then ''Dixie State Rebels'' (later called "Red Storm", now Utah Tech Trailblazers) from 1996-2012, and then the BYU Cougars (2013–2022.) Playing career Littlewood was a third baseman at BYU, earning All-Conference as both a junior and senior. He was drafted in the 27th round of the 1988 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers and played one season at Class-A Beloit Brewers. Coaching career Shortly after his playing career ended, Littlewood accepted the head coaching position at Alta High School in Sandy, Utah. He remained for three seasons before moving to Dixie State, then a junior college in St. George, Utah. Bruce Hurst Field
Bruce Hurst Field is a stadium in St. George, Utah. It is primarily used for baseball, hosting the Utah Tech University baseball team. Banner Island Ballpark is a baseball stadium located in Stockton, California, on the Stockton waterfront, which seats 5,200 people with 4,200 fixed seats. Packard Stadium was a college baseball park in the southwestern United States, located in Tempe, Arizona, a suburb just east of Phoenix. It was the home field of the Arizona State Sun Devils of the Pac-12 Conference from 1974 to 2014. Adam Cimber
Adam Christian Cimber (born August 15, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians, and Miami Marlins. Cimber is one of only a few major league pitchers with a submarine delivery. Marco Elias Gonzales (born February 16, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the St. Louis Cardinals. He attended Gonzaga University, where he played college baseball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs as a pitcher and first baseman. Washington Trust Field and Patterson Baseball Complex is a college baseball stadium on the campus of Gonzaga University on Spokane, Washington. Opened in 2007, it is the home venue of the Gonzaga Bulldogs of the West Coast Conference. Wesley Scott Benjamin (born July 26, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the KT Wiz of the KBO League. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers.
