2013 Algerian Super Cup
The 2013 Algerian Super Cup is the 7th edition of Algerian Super Cup, a football match contested by the winners of the Ligue 1 and 2012–13 Algerian Cup competitions. The match was scheduled to be played on 11 January 2014 at Stade Mustapha Tchaker in Blida between 2013-14 Ligue 1 winners ES Sétif and 2012–13 Algerian Cup winners USM Alger. Algerian Super Cup
The Algerian Super Cup ( ar, كأس الجزائر الممتازة), is an Algerian football competition, held as a game between the reigning champions of the Algerian League and the Algerian Cup. The first edition was held in 1973 and then again in 1981, 1992 and 1995 before being scrapped. The game returned in 2006 but would be scrapped again after the 2007 edition, returning once again in 2013. The current holders are CR Belouizdad, who beat USM Alger in the 2019 final, played in November 2020. MC Alger is the most successful club in the competition, having won the trophy three times. Rabah Saâdane
Rabah Saâdane ( ar, رابح سعدان; born 3 May 1946) is an Algerian football manager and retired professional player whose playing career was abruptly interrupted at the age of 27 by a car accident. His last management job was of the Algerian national team before resigning in September 2010. It was his fifth separate spell in charge of the team after earlier stints between 1981 and 2004 and was arguably his most successful, given its arduous qualification process. He was in charge when the U-20s qualified for the 1979 FIFA World Youth Championship, Algeria's first participation in a major tournament. He was also part of the 1982 FIFA World Cup backroom staff and head coach in the 1986 FIFA World Cup. Kheïreddine Madoui (born March 27, 1977 in Sétif) is an Algerian football former player and the current manager of CS Constantine. Career As a player, he spent his entire career between his hometown club of ES Sétif and CR Belouizdad. He also had 12 caps and 3 goals for the Algerian National Team. In 2005, he had to end up his active career due to a severe leg injury with only 28 years of age. Five years later, in summer 2010 he became assistant coach of his hometown club ES Sétif, until he was designated as head coach of the team in December 2013. Career Club career In September 2009, Gourmi was loaned out by FC Baulmes to BSC Young Boys.
