Willingen
Willingen (official name: ''Willingen (Upland)'') is a municipality in Waldeck-Frankenberg in northern Hesse, Germany, some 80 km west of Kassel. Geography Location Willingen is found in Waldeck-Frankenberg district in the Upland. Its main town stretches between two river valleys, the Hoppecke in the west and the Itter in the east. Paul Freier
Slawomir Paul Freier (Polish: Sławomir Paweł Freier; born 26 July 1979) is a German football coach and former player who was usually employed as a midfielder. He is currently the assistant manager of VfL Bochum U19. Biography Childhood and youth Freier was born in 1979 in the Upper Silesian city of Bytom (German: Beuthen). At the age of 5, he joined the club ŁTS Łabędy in Gliwice, Poland. At age 11, Freier emigrated with his parents from Upper Silesia to Germany, where the family settled in Arnsberg-Holzen in North Rhine-Westphalia. Newly arrived there, he joined SV Holzen and three years later moved to BSV Menden. In his youth, Freier received an offer from Borussia Dortmund, but his father refused a move to Dortmund. Nikoloz Gelashvili ( ka, ნიკოლოზ გელაშვილი; born 5 August 1985) is a Georgian footballer who plays for FC Dila Gori. Career Gelashvili joined Zestaponi in January 2008. Leon Christoph Goretzka (born 6 February 1995) is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Bayern Munich and the Germany national team. Starting off his career with VfL Bochum in 2012, he went on play more than 100 Bundesliga games for Schalke 04 before signing with Bayern Munich in 2018. Christoph Dabrowski (born Krzysztof Dąbrowski; 1 August 1978) is a German football manager and former player who manages Rot-Weiss Essen. He played for Werder Bremen, Arminia Bielefeld, Hannover 96 and VfL Bochum. Club career On 11 May 1999, Dabrowski scored the decisive goal in Werder Bremen's 1–0 win against Schalke 04 and greatly contributed to the club's Bundesliga survival. Werner Altegoer
Werner Altegoer (18 June 1935 – 9 January 2013) was a German entrepreneur; president and later chairman of the advisory board of football club VfL Bochum. He headed the club from 1993 until 2010, and was named honorary chairman of the supervisory board in 2011. Entrepreneurial career Altegoer was born in Bochum in the Ruhrgebiet-area in western Germany. Until the age of 15 he played in the youth sides of local club VfL Bochum. Dariusz Wosz (, ; born 8 June 1969) is a German professional football coach and former player who is a technical trainer for German club VfL Bochum. As a player, he played mostly as a deep-lying playmaker in midfield. Early life Wosz's family migrated to Halle, Germany, from the Polish part of Silesia. Club career Wosz started playing football at BSG Motor Halle in 1980. After a year there he moved to BSG Empor Halle before joining Chemie Halle in 1984.
