2012–13 Ukrainian First League
The 2012–13 Ukrainian First League will be the 22nd since its establishment. The competition commenced on 13 July 2012 when Obolon Kyiv visited Sumy and played a goalless draw against FC Sumy. The competition had a winter break that started 25 November 2012 and resumed on 23 March 2013. Ukrainian First League
The Persha Liha ( uk, Перша ліга) or Ukrainian First League is a professional football league in Ukraine and the second tier of national football competitions pyramid. Members of the league also participate in the Ukrainian Cup. It is the highest division of Professional Football League. History The league was set up by the newly reorganized Football Federation of Ukraine (a successor of the Football Federation of the Ukrainian SSR) with the falling apart Soviet Union as a second tier, lower than Ukrainian Higher League (Vyshcha Liha) and higher that Ukrainian Transitional League (Perekhidna Liha). The very first round of games that took place for this league was on 14 March 1992. The 2011–12 Ukrainian First League was the 21st since its establishment. Eighteen teams competed in the competition. Two teams were promoted from the 2010–11 Ukrainian Second League. FC Tytan Armyansk
FC Tytan Armiansk (; ) was a football club based in Armiansk, Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The club last played in the Persha Liha during the 2013–14 season. The club was dissolved due to the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation. Colors are (Home) gold shirts, black shorts. (Away) white shirts, black shorts. History The first official name the team received was Stroitel (The Builder) in 1969, although, the team already existed and participated in the regional competitions since 1964, but without a real name. The team began to play its games on some quickly cleared up area for a football(soccer) field. Simultaneously, the construction of a new stadium started as well. FC Helios Kharkiv
FC Helios Kharkiv is a Ukrainian association football, football club located in Kharkiv, Ukraine. From 2003 to 2018 the club competed at professional level. In 2018 it was expected to be succeeded by FC Kobra Kharkiv, but unsuccessfully. FC Helios dissolved its professional team, but kept its football academy which competes at regional level. FC Bukovyna Chernivtsi
Football Sports Club Bukovyna Chernivtsi is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Chernivtsi. History The club was established in 1958 as Avanhard Chernivtsi (Avangard Chernovtsy) for republican competitions and became the first club from Chernivtsi Oblast to be added to the Soviet Class B competition in 1960. Before 1958 Chernivtsi were presented several times by various teams in republican competitions like Burevisnyk (1956), Dynamo (1948, 1950–1955), Spartak (1946, 1947, 1949), Lokomotyv (1949). FC Nyva Vinnytsia is a professional Ukraine, Ukrainian association football, football club based in the city of Vinnytsia. The name "Nyva" translates to "grain field". The 2011–12 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 21st since its establishment and fourth since its reorganisation. The season began on 8 July 2011 when newly promoted PFC Oleksandria visited FC Vorskla Poltava. FC Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions, having won their 6th league title in the 2010–11 season and they successfully defended their title by winning the championship in the last round of the competition. A total of sixteen teams participated in the league, the best fourteen sides of the 2010–11 season and two promoted clubs from the 2010–11 Ukrainian First League. FC Poltava
FC Poltava ( uk , ФК Полтава) was a Ukrainian football club based in Poltava in 2007–2018. History The club was created by the newly elected mayor of the Poltava city Andriy Matkovsky (2006-2010) who is the club's Honorary President and the main sponsor. FC Poltava entered the professional leagues for the 2007–08 season in the Druha Liha B without playing a single game at amateur level. The first coach of the main team was Oleksandr Omelchuk who previously coached FC Vorskla-2 Poltava. FC Poltava started the season trepidly but in the second half they improved a great deal. FC Spartak Sumy
FC Spartak Sumy was a Ukrainian football club based in Sumy. History Yavir was established on January 12, 1982 at the village forestry Krasnopillya. In Ukrainian Yavir ( uk, Явір) means Sycamore (''Acer pseudoplatanus''). The team started playing in the regional championship and after couple of years became the regional champion. The following year it won the regional cup. In the first national championship of Ukraine ''Yavir Krasnopillya'' became involved in the professional leagues, first in the Ukrainian Second League, then in the 1992. The 2006–07 Ukrainian First League is the sixteenth since its establishment. There were 20 teams competing. Two teams were relegated from the Ukrainian Premier League 2005-06. 2011–12 Ukrainian Second League
The 2011–12 Ukrainian Second League was the 21st season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. There are two groups of competition divided by region. Both Group competitions began on July 23, 2011. The competition had a winter break from November 6, 2012 and until April 2, 2012. The group competitions will complete on 28 May 2012. The championship game was played between the top teams of each group competition on 2 June 2012.
