Konak Belediyespor (women)
Konak Belediyespor Women's Football () is the women's football team of the Turkish multi-sport club Konak Belediyespor based in Konak district of İzmir, Turkey. The team was established by the district municipality in 2006. Many players of the Konak Belediyespor women's team are members of the Turkey women's national football team. The club also maintains the girls under-17 and under-15 football teams. History After placing third in the 2009–10 season in the Women's First Football League, they became runner-up the next season. The team won the league championship in the 2012–13 season. The women's team played in the 2013–14 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying round and advanced to the round of 16. Trabzon İdmanocağı (women)
İdmanocağı or İdman Ocağı is a Turkish sports club based in Trabzon, Turkey. The club had a strong rivalry with another club, İdmangücü, which matched the The Intercontinental Derby (football), Istanbul derby between Fenerbahçe S.K., Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray S.K., Galatasaray. İdmanocağı were compared to Galatasaray in that period, partly because of this rivalry and partly because of their red and yellow colours. The association football, football department discontinued in 1967 when they were forced by the Turkish Football Federation to merge with İdmangücü and two other local clubs, Karadenizgücü and Martıspor to form Trabzonspor. 2013–14 UEFA Women's Champions League
The 2013–14 UEFA Women's Champions League was the 13th edition of the European women's championship for football clubs. The final was held at Estádio do Restelo, Lisbon, Portugal. German team VfL Wolfsburg won the title over Swedish club Tyresö FF after turning a 0–2 into a 4–3 win. Wolfsburg became the third side to defend the Champions League title. Team allocation and distribution Austria had overtaken Norway for 8th place in the UEFA coefficient ranking and thus assured themselves a second entry. Countries were allocated places according to their UEFA league coefficient for women. Trabzon
Trabzon, historically known as Trebizond, is a city on the Black Sea coast of northeastern Turkey and the capital of Trabzon Province. The city was founded in 756 BC as "Trapezous" by colonists from Miletus. Derince is a seaport, municipality and Districts of Turkey, district of Kocaeli Province, Turkey. Its area is 198 km2, and its population is 146,374 (2022). The mayor is Zeki Aygün (Justice and Development Party (Turkey), AK Parti). Derince Port is one of the few ports in Turkey under government control.
