The 2012–13 season is Sun Pegasus FC's 5th season in football in Hong Kong First Division League. Sun Pegusus will seek to win the league, which they failed last year as Kitchee won. The club will also be competing in the Senior Challenge Shield and the FA Cup. Sun Pegasus FC
Hong Kong Pegasus FC () are a Hong Kong football club based in Yuen Long. Founded in 2008, the club currently competes in the Hong Kong Third Division. History TSW Pegasus was established in June 2008, and they had their first season in 2008–09 Hong Kong First Division League with a budget of about HKD$10,000,000. On 21 December 2008, Pegasus won their first trophy, defeating Sun Hei in the 2008 Senior Shield Final. In July 2012, the club was renamed as Sun Pegasus following introduction of a new sponsor. After the 2014–15 season, Sun International Resources Limited withdrew their sponsorship. Their club was renamed Hong Kong Pegasus following a takeover by Canny Leung. In October 2020, the club was renamed back to TSW Pegasus and returned to Yuen Long Stadium. After spending 13 years in top flight, Pegasus confirmed their withdrawal from the 2021–22 HKPL season and decided to self-relegate to the Hong Kong Third Division. Jone Da Silva Pinto
Jone da Silva Pinto (born 13 November 1991), commonly known as Jone or Pinto is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a centre forward. Career He began his career from the youth team of Brasil de Pelotas, and in 2012 was given on loan to Atlético Farroupilha. He has also played in Sun Pegasus, in the Hong Kong Premier League and for Ethnikos Achna, in the Cypriot First Division. On 15 January 2015, he was given on loan to AE Larissa till the end of the season 2014-15. Pinto moved to Super League 2 side PAS Lamia and secured 34 appearances and scored 10 goals for the side in 2015-2016 season. Alessandro Ferreira Leonardo (born 10 March 1987), commonly known as Sandro (), is a Brazilian-born Hong Kong professional football player who is currently a free agent. Club career Citizen Sandro was sent off after a second bookable offence in the match against South China, when he pressured Zhang Chunhui to take his goal kick quickly and was considered by the referee to have obstructed the goalkeeper. Citizen lost the match 2–1. Sandro scored a hat-trick against Tai Po on 2 May 2009 to help the club win 4–1 and end the 2008–09 season in third place in the league. On 25 October 2009, Sandro scored 5 goals for Citizen against Happy Valley at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground, including a 50-yard lob. Hongkongers (), also known as Hong Kongers, Hong Kongese, Hongkongese, Hong Kong citizens and Hong Kong people, typically refers to residents of the territory of Hong Kong; although may also refer to others who were born and/or raised in the territory. The Chinese Football Association China League (), also known as China League One or Chinese Jia League (中甲联赛), is the second level of professional football in China. Above League One is the Chinese Super League. Prior to the formation of the Chinese Super League, Jia League was known as ''Jia B League''. The then top two levels of Chinese football league were known as ''Jia A League'' and ''Jia B League'' respectively. Ng Wai Chiu
Ng Wai Chiu (born 22 October 1981 in Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong former professional footballer. He was capped for Hong Kong at various youth levels, as well as the senior national team. He is currently the assistant manager of Chinese Super League club Dalian Professional. Early life Ng Wai Chiu's father Ng Chi Ying was also a footballer for Guangdong.
