2012–13 Rwanda National Football League
The 2012–13 Rwanda National Football League (known as the Primus National Football League for sponsorship reasons) was the 36th season of the Rwanda National Football League since it began in 1975. The season began on 22 September 2012 and ended on 25 May 2013. Armée Patriotique Rwandaise were the defending champions, having won their record 13th title the previous season. Rayon Sports won their 7th title, finishing at the top of the table with 57 points, and represented Rwanda in the 2014 CAF Champions League. Rwanda National Football League
The Rwanda Premier League is the highest division of football in Rwanda. The league was formed in 1975. It was known as the Primus National Football League in 2004 and from 2009–10 to 2012–13, after which sponsorship was taken over by Turbo King. The league was renamed the Azam Rwanda Premier League for the 2015–16 season after Tanzanian television broadcasters Azam TV were announced as sponsors in a deal worth US$ 2.35 million covering five years. From 2019/the 2020 season Azam TV announced the termination of its contract with Rwanda FA. Ruhengeri
Ruhengeri, also known as Musanze or Muhoza, is a city and capital of Musanze District in the Northern Province of Rwanda. Some sources now refer to the city itself as Musanze, after the district in which it lies within. This has to do with the adopted policy of renaming Rwanda cities, which was done to eliminate memories of the past and to install new administrations in the country. Huye District
Huye is one of the eight districts (''Akarere'') that make up Rwanda's Southern Province. It has a total surface area of 581.5 square Kilometers. It has thirteen sectors and 77 cells with a total of 508 umudugudus (villages) in total. The district has a population of 328,298, with an average of 581 inhabitants per square kilometer. The largest city in the province is Butare. Geography and education Huye borders with Nyanza district in the North, Gisagara in the east and south, Nyaruguru in the south west and Nyamagabe in the north west. Muhanga (former Gitarama, renamed in 2006) is a city in Rwanda, in the Muhanga District, in Southern Province. The city is above sea level. Rusizi District
Rusizi is a district (''akarere'') in Western Province, Rwanda. Its capital is Cyangugu, the major city of the Rwandan south-west and the district contains large parts of the former Cyangugu Province. Rubavu District
Rubavu District is one of the seven districts of the country district (''akarere'') in Western Province, Rwanda. Its capital is Gisenyi, It has a large beach resort and border city. It has a total surface area of 388.3 Km2. Geography The district lies on the shores of Lake Kivu, around the city of Gisenyi, and just across the border from the Congolese city of Goma.
